Introduction
TC-6110 train computers are designed specifically for car-borne train
automation like network video recorders, passenger information
systems, condition monitoring, and train-to-ground communications.
The computers come with two Gigabit LAN ports, one RS-232 serial
port, three USB 2.0 ports, and two TC-SATA-T storage modules, giving
customers a versatile solution for on-board train computing.

further allow for highly flexible, convenient integration into a variety
of systems. Users can easily add storage modules for additional
capacity, Gigabit switch modules to expand network connectivity and/
or bandwidth, serial and CAN bus modules for additional serial/CAN
device connectivity, or mini PCIe modules for additional peripheral
communications.
Designed for high reliability in the demanding conditions experienced

Introduction
TC-6000 series expansion modules provide expansion modules for
adding peripheral interfaces to the TC-6000 series line of railway
computers.
These modules include a 2.5 inch mass storage module with
customizable temperature management features; four-port (with
PoE) and four-port (without PoE) Gigabit or Megabit Ethernet switch
modules, both with M12 connectors; a mini PCIe card carrier module
with four sockets; a serial module supporting four software-selectable
RS-232/422/485 interfaces over a single DB44-F connector (cable
adapter); and an optically isolated CAN module with two ports.
These modules let system integrators and administrators easily add
additional storage capacity, Ethernet ports and/or bandwidth, as well
as serial, PCIe, and CAN interfaces to the TC-6000 series of train
computers.
All of the TC-6000 modules are compliant with the essential sections
of the EN 50155 Class TX standard, maintaining the TC-6000 series
goal of offering a highly dependable computing platform suitable for a
wide variety of on-board railway applications.

The V2616A series of embedded computers are based on the Intel
Core i5/i7 processor, and feature 2 RS-232/422/485 serial ports,
dual Gigabit LAN ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and dual VGA/DVI-D video
output. V2616A computers are compliant with the essential sections
of EN 50155 covering operating temperature, power supply, ESD
and vibration tolerance, and surge protection, making them ideal for
railway and other industrial transport applications.
V2616A computers come with a CFast socket that provides ample and
secure data buffering or additional storage expansion, as well as 2
hot-swappable storage trays that accept 2.5" solid state or hard disk
storage drives, and may be arranged in RAID 1 arrays to give full data
redundancy.

The V2406A Series embedded computers are based on the Intel 3rd
generation processor, and feature 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports, dual
LAN ports, and 3 USB 2.0 hosts. V2406A computers provide VGA and
DVI-I outputs, and in addition are compliant with the essential sections
of EN 50155 covering operating temperature, power input voltage,
power surges, ESD, and vibration, making them particularly well-suited
for railway and industrial applications.

Introduction
The V2416A Series embedded computers are based on the Intel 3rd
generation processor and feature 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports,
dual LAN ports, and 3 USB 2.0 hosts. In addition, V2416A computers
provide VGA and DVI-I outputs and are compliant with the essential
sections of EN 50155 covering operating temperature, power input
voltage, power surges, ESD, and vibration, which makes them
particularly well-suited for railway and industrial applications.

The UC-8481 embedded computer comes with 2 RS-232/422/485
serial ports, 2 Ethernet ports, 4 digital input channels, 4 digital output
channels, a CompactFlash socket, and 2 USB 2.0 ports.
The computer uses the Intel XScale IXP435 533 MHz RISC CPU. This
powerful computing engine supports several useful communication
functions, but will not generate too much heat. The built-in 32 MB NOR
Flash ROM and 512 MB SDRAM give you enough memory to run your
application software directly on the UC-8481, and the 512 MB NAND
Flash can be used to provide additional data storage.
Mostly importantly, the UC-8481 series comes with seven connectors
that allow users to connect various wireless and GPS modules, making
it particularly well-suited for rolling stock and moving vehicles. The
UC-8481 is a convenient cornerstone for customizing intelligent, costeffective wireless communication platforms.
With an embedded Linux operating system pre-installed, the UC-8481
series provides an open software platform perfect for custom-authored
software. Software written on desktop PCs can be easily ported to the
UC-8481 via a common compiler, without any modification of code.
This makes the UC-8481 an optimal solution for industrial applications,
allowing ample customization with minimal cost and effort.

units designed to provide high performance, high reliability and high

The RNAS-1200 Series is built with a fanless, thermally efficient,
dust- and water-protected IP 54-rated chassis. This sealed enclosure
eliminates internal fans as a point of critical system failure, protecting
the internals from dust and splashed water. These devices are further
compliant with the essential sections of EN 50155 covering operating
temperature, power input voltage, power surges, ESD, and vibration,
ensuring the RNAS-1200 devices will operate reliably under the
