We have addressed the following issues.
 In certain circumstances, an error occurred when source documents were organized in the
Engagement Binders Tree portlet.
 In certain circumstances, an error occurred when engagement binders were rolled forward.
 The application did not properly display diagnostic and warning messages when source documents
were transmitted to the Thomson Reuters secure data center.
Reports
We have updated the FICA Tip Credit Summary payroll report to exclude reversed and reversal payroll
checks. This addresses an issue that caused the report to calculate the Tips to Min amount incorrectly
when reversal payroll checks were included.
Note: If your firm has modified the predefined version of a report, the application will not overwrite your
existing report with an updated version. If this is the case, you will need to make the necessary changes
to your customized report manually or you will need to restore the latest predefined version using the
Report Designer. To do the latter, select the report from the Reports list pane in the Report Designer and
then choose File > Restore Default.
Report Designer
We have addressed an issue that, in certain circumstances, caused the application to calculate the
Customer Activity > Beginning Balance variable incorrectly on reports such as the default Customer
Activity reports.

Payroll compliance






Forms 1095-C and 1094-C have not yet been finalized by the IRS, so the forms are not yet available
in the application to print. However, you can enter data and preview information on the draft forms by
choosing Actions > Edit Payroll Tax Forms and selecting 1095-C in the Form type field. When the
forms have been finalized and approved, we will make them available in a future application update.
We have addressed an issue that caused the application to calculate amounts incorrectly for the
Form 1099-B internet file.
Michigan. We have addressed an issue that prevented the application from displaying Form
UIA-1017, in certain circumstances.
Ohio. The state requires that payments for state and school district income tax withholding returns be
filed using the Ohio Business Gateway (https://ohiobusinessgateway.ohio.gov\obg). We continue to
work with the state to establish a testing and software transmission environment to provide the ability
to electronically file Forms IT-501, IT-941, IT-942, SD-101, and SD-141 within the application.
Because the testing and software transmission environment is still being set up and Form IT-941 is
due by January 31, 2015, we recommend that you file electronically via the alternate web file option
available from the Ohio Business Gateway. Once we have been approved for filing, we will add the
filing methods Electronic and Electronic with Payment for Forms IT-501, IT-941, IT-942, SD-101, and
SD-141 to the Forms grid in the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen.
Oregon. We have addressed an issue that prevented the application from displaying employee
information on Form OQ when there was no tax withheld.
Wisconsin. We have addressed an issue with Form WT-7 that prevented the application from
including the amount from Line 2 in the total for Line 4.
Payroll form and filing information
The Payroll Form and Filing Information portlet on the Home or Firm dashboard provides the following
information: form approval status, form availability, available filing methods, form due dates, form filing
addresses, tax payment information (for all tax types), agency contact information, new hire reporting
information, payroll resources, and tax calendar (to view and print tax deposit due dates and form due
dates for all federal, state, and certain local tax agents). Click the applicable jurisdiction on the map to
display the federal, state, and local tax form information within the tabbed pages in the lower section of
the portlet. For information on working with portlets, enter Dashboard portlet: Payroll Form & Filing
Information in the search field on the application toolbar.
Important! Click here to open a detailed list of v.2014.1.11 additions or updates for new hire files, tax
agents, payroll tax forms, and payroll tax tables.

Website resources and email subscription
Visit our website to access the ARNE Community (an online user forum), to learn about training courses,
to view blogs and articles, and more. You can access the website from within Accounting CS by choosing
Help > On the Web > CS Professional Suite Home Page.
We issue software update notices via email. You can sign up to receive these notices by visiting the My
Account section of our website. You’ll need to create a web account (if you don’t already have one) and
then sign up for the Email Subscription service where you can indicate which notices you want to receive.
Accounting CS Ideas Community
The Accounting CS Ideas Community is a forum in which you can share ideas with other users and
provide feedback and suggestions to our development team. Through the forum, you can also upload and
share customized reports, financial statements, letters, or check layouts that might be helpful to other
firms. The enhancements that have been implemented based on customer suggestions voiced in the
