ABOUT OUR CATALOG
Procedure
STEP 1 Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation. Park
the motorcycle on a hard, level surface; turn off the ignition and allow the engine to cool.
NOTE LED turn signals draw substantially less power than OEM incandescent bulbs. If
your LED’s exhibit a rapid flash or no flash at all, that is an indication that there is not enough
load present. In this case adding one load equalizer per each set of turn signals being replaced
with LED’s will eliminate this problem. Contact your local dealer or visit www.kuryakyn.com
to learn more about which load equalizer(s) you will need.
STEP 2 Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
STEP 3 Remove OEM turn signals from the fender strut and disconnect the wires leading
to them.

NOTE There are two STEP 4’s, one for Dyna and one for Softail models. Make certain that you
follow the step that applies to your bike
STEP 4 - FOR SOFTAIL MODELS
Loosen the three fasteners on the fender strut to gain enough clearance between the fender and the
strut to insert the supplied 5/16–18 X 1/2” Button Socket Cap Screw (labeled as “D” in PIC 1) from
the inside of the strut (labeled as “E” in PIC 1) through the rearward-mounting hole.
PIC. 1
STEP 4 - FOR DYNA MODELS
Remove the reward fender strut fastener. Insert the supplied 5/16–18 X 1-1/2” Button Socket Cap
Screw from the inside of the fender and through the fender strut.
STEP 5 Included are optional Red Lenses, which can be used as an alternative to the
clear lenses (labeled as “A” in PIC 1). The Mini Bullets will illuminate red no matter which
lens is used. Remove the button socket cap screw (Labeled as “B” in PIC 1) that holds the
lens in the housing using a 5/64” Allen wrench. Replace with the Red Lenses and Chrome
Bezels in the reverse manner as the clear lenses were removed.
STEP 6 Connect the wires from the Mini Bullets (labeled as “C” in PIC 1) to your stock
turn signal wires. Connect the Mini Bullets purple wire to your bikes turn signal positive
wire. Connect the Mini Bullets black wire to your bikes turn signal ground wire. Some
models will allow the wires to be run through the fender strut while others will require the wires to be
routed around the end of the fender strut and between the strut and the fender. For best results solder
and insulate the connections.
STEP 7 Reconnect your negative cable to your battery and test for function before fully mounting the
Mini Bullets.
STEP 8 Fasten the Mini Bullet to your fender strut using the Button Socket Cap Screw you inserted
in STEP 3 and tighten fully. You may choose to treat the threads of the fastener with blue lock tight to
combat the possibility of the fastener loosening due to vibration.
STEP 9 Make sure all excess wiring is clear from the wheel and exhaust. Using a zip, or wire tie may
help assist in keeping these wires away from those components.
ATTENTION! It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including pre-assembled)
are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will not warranty components lost due to
improper installation. Periodic maintenance may be required.
