CAUTION: TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE

1. As with all small batteries, the batteries used with this product should be kept away from small children who still put things in their mouths.

If they are swallowed, promptly see a doctor and have the doctor phone (202) 625 3333 collect. If you reside outside the United States, have the doctor call your local poison control center.

2. Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and always follow the product and battery manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Do not mix old and new batteries of alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

4. Always remove weak or dead batteries from the product.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

CAUTION:

1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them correctly by matching + and - polarity markings.

2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.

3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from product.

4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.

5. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

6. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Reset

(switching off and back on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.

7. RECHARGABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before recharging.

Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE

OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.

Batteries included. Replace with 3X1.5V "LR44" or A76 size batteries. Phillips/cross head screwdriver (not included) needed to replace batteries.

TWIST GRIP INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

This bicycle comes with an authentic Power Ranger twist grip. For ages 3-8 years.

These instructions are for the operation of the twist grip, and maintenance.

Both the 12 inch and 16 inch model do not have the twist grip attached, an adult must attach the twist grip to the right end of the handlebar before bicycle is used. Battery replacement involves small parts and potential exposure of sharp edges and should be done by an adult.

A small Phillips screwdriver is required.

ASSEMBLY (adult assembly required)

STEP 1:

Slide twist grip onto the right handlebar end as shown here. Completely slide the unit until it will slide onto handlebar no further.

STEP 2:

Orient the unit with the Red Autobot icon facing forward. Once oriented properly, tighten both screws securely so the unit does not rotate on the handlebar. Requires a #1 Phillips screwdriver

(not included).

STEP 3:

Twist the grip. While twisting the grip, you will see electronic lights and hear electronic sounds activate together.

HOW TO USE:

1. Twist the grip in a downward motion.

2. While twisting the grip, you will see electronic

lights and hear electronic sounds activate together.

3. Release grip, and a spring will return the grip

to its original position.

MAINTENANCE

With usage, your twist grip may become loose. If it does, you should make it tight as follows: Orient the unit with Red Autobot icon facing forward.

Once oriented properly, tighten both screws securely so the unit does not rotate on the handlebar. Requires a #1 Phillips screwdriver

(not included).

BATTERY REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

Batteries are included and will need occasional replacement.

The battery cover must be removed in order to access the batteries (see instructions below).

Please keep out of reach of children. Batteries and screws also present an unsafe hazard. Remove battery cover and change batteries without children present.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVAL:

Use a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to remove the screw from the battery cover.

Remove cover. 3 x LR44 batteries are included inside.

Use a tool (i.e. small screwdriver or equivalent) to remove batteries.

End result. * For replacement of batteries, repeat the process in reverse.

To remove the batteries and prevent damage to clamp, use insulated long nose pliers, small flat head type screwdriver, or equivalent to remove the battery from its clamp.

Replace the old batteries with new batteries. Please ensure the clamp is not damaged and the positive side is up when inserting batteries.

Ensure the battery door is securely fastened.
