The MCE/Weinschel SmartStep™ High Power Switch Unit provides front-panel and computer control for up to two channels of RF switching, or other functions. Each switch contains a front panel switch labeled S1 or S2. Standard Model 8501 designs house and control either one or two high power switches via front panel controls or standard communications interfaces including GPIB (IEEE-488) and RS-232/RS-422/RS485.
