Frequently asked questions

Use long glow plugs, like OFNA/PICCO Plug (#51007 or 51008).

Use 20% nitro CAR fuel. Do not use airplane or heli fuels, they will overheat the engine.

To adjust the brake, tighten or loosen the brake adjust nut.

Upgrade the car battery pack to a Ni-Cad or NiHm 5 cell type(600AE). This will give more run time.

Use a 2mm hex screw to adjust the ride height. Screwing in the 4x10mm set screw lowers the ride height and unscrewing it raises it.

Close the master needle by turning clockwise until it stops. Then open it by turning counterclockwise 3 turns (rich setting). Adjust the carb with 1/8 clockwise turns, slowly leaning it out until you reach a good top speed. Check the engine temp, if possible, for no more than 250 degrees. Adjust the low end needle for best throttle response. From idle, give it full throttle. If the throttle is slow, lean out the needle until it is good.
