FAQs
• Only HDMI enabled TVs with underscan/overscan* support can accurately display full active video.
Some HDMI equipped TVs cannot support this feature. If underscan/overscan is not supported, the top, bottom, left and right border of the active video may be distorted, and the S/PDIF audio may not sound right.
*Note: Underscan mode displays full video frame, which reveals content recorded on the edges of the screen. In overscan mode, the field monitor zooms into the area that would be visible on most TVs. Set the field monitor to underscan if your video will be viewed on a computer monitor or shown with a projector, also look for light stands, microphones and other unwanted objects on the edges of your shot. Set to overscan to see how the video will look on a television.
• Stereo Audio In: supports 2-channel analog audio.
This port does not support 8-channel analog audio.
• S/PDIF In: supports up to 8-channel audio input.
• S/PDIF In: supports 48KHz audio sampling rate only. Adjust your audio source's output signal to
48KHz in order to send the correct audio signal.
• Rotary Switch: mode 7; to read EDID of the HDMI port. Set rotary switch to 7, then return to 0 when the image appears.
