Chevrolet Performance LSA E-ROD 6.2L Crate Engine Control System User manual

The LSA E-Rod crate engine control system is a fully-integrated, 50 state Emission Certified kit designed to run the Chevrolet Performance LSA series crate engines. This kit comes with the engine, engine control module, engine harness, accelerator pedal, mass air flow (MAF) sensor, MAF sensor mounting boss, oxygen sensors (4), and oxygen sensor mounting bosses (4). This system features a malfunction indicator light (MIL), cooling fan control, and a fuel pump controlled by the ECM. The harness includes a fuse/relay center, a 12-way bulkhead connector, and diagnostic link connector.

The required fuel system needs to be controlled to 60 psi at idle and 65 GPH @ 87 psi (600 kPa) for WOT conditions.

The MIL will illuminate in the event of an engine fault code. It is recommended that a MIL also be installed in a visible location in the passenger compartment.

Install an oil pressure gauge and disconnect the engine control system (removing power from the engine control module is generally recommended). Crank the engine using the starter for 10 seconds and check for oil pressure. Repeat this process until oil pressure is indicated on the gauge.
