Please check the cover to frame interface prior to concreting. It is recommended that the cover is placed into the frame during concreting to eliminate any frame distortion. The underside of the frame must be fully supported in concrete. Cover Frame It is recommended that during concreting, the cover be postioned into the frame and the gap between the cover and frame be sealed with tape to protect the cover seal and frame. FITTING INSTRUCTIONS VERY IMPORTANT To allow for drainage, Fibrelite recommends that the concrete be sloped away from the top outer edge of the frame (A) a minimum of 1/2” over a 12” distance. Do not expose the top outer edge of the frame (A) – the concrete pad must be flush with the top outer edge of the frame. "A" 12” Expansion joint filled with petrol resistant mastic. Min. 20” (300mm) (500mm) . Minimum 8” (200mm) Maximum 13 3/4” (350mm) VERY IMPORTANT The underside of the frame must be adequately supported by concrete.
