Tape to protect
seal and frame
Care must be taken not to twist the frames. Please check the
cover to frame interface prior to concreting. It is recommended that
the cover is placed into the frame during concreting to eliminate
any frame distortion. The underside of the frame must be fully
supported in concrete.
Cover
Frame
It is recommended that during
concreting, the cover be
postioned into the frame and
the gap between the cover and
frame be sealed with tape to
protect the cover seal and frame.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
VERY IMPORTANT
To allow for drainage, Fibrelite recommends that the concrete be sloped away from the top
outer edge of the frame (A) a minimum of 1/2” over a 12” distance. Do not expose the top outer
edge of the frame (A) – the concrete pad must be flush with the top outer edge of the frame.
