M-System ASWL2 DC Alarm INSTRUCTION MANUAL

M-system ASWL2 is a DC alarm suitable for applications where heavy dust or metal particles are present in the air, for instance, when industrial machinery is in operation. It can also be used in situations with continuous vibration or where physical impact might occur. The device needs to warm up for 10 minutes before it can perform with complete satisfaction. It also has a rotary switch adjustment, Hi and Lo LED lights, a DIN rail mounting and wall mounting option for flexible installation, and an input resistor is provided for current input type.

Detach the yellow clamps at the top and bottom of the unit to separate the body from the base socket. Set the base socket so that its DIN rail adapter is at the bottom. Position the upper hook at the rear side of the base socket on the DIN rail and push in the lower. When removing the socket, push down the DIN rail adapter utilizing a screwdriver and pull.

Use the Hi and Lo setpoint rotary switches to set the alarm setpoints. The Hi and Lo LED lights turn on when the coil for each relay is energized.

Warm up the unit for at least 10 minutes. To calibrate the Hi setpoint, increase the input signal from a value lower than the setpoint and check that the trip point remains within the accuracy described in the data sheet. To calibrate the Lo setpoint, decrease the input signal from a value higher than the setpoint and check that the trip point remains within the accuracy described in the data sheet.
