Connect a serial cable to the console port on the rear panel of the unit. Connect the other end of the cable to a VT100 terminal or PC with terminal emulation software. Open a VT100 terminal session to the NetVanta 4305 using the following settings: 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity bits, and 1 stop bit. Press to activate the ADTRAN Command Line Interface. Enter 'enable' at the > prompt.
