TrueCrypt can be run in “Traveller mode”, which allows you to access and create TrueCrypt
volumes stored in a USB drive while using a PC in which TrueCrypt is NOT installed.
This option is not available for MAC. You would need to download and install TrueCrypt on all MACs that will be accessing the
USB drive.
To prepare a USB drive for running TrueCrypt in 'traveller' mode, do the following:

Plug you USB thumb drive into a PC with TrueCrypt installed.
Run TrueCrypt. From the TrueCrypt menu, click "Tools" -> "Traveller Disk Setup"
Select the USB thumb drive by clicking the "Browse..." button.
Check the option "Include TrueCrypt Volume Creation Wizard". Then click "Create"
5. You will get a confirmation window when the TrueCrypt traveller disk is created
successfully. Click "OK" on the confirmation window and then click "Close" on the Disk
Setup window.
6. You can create a new TrueCrypt volume in the USB drive (please refer to the steps
described in the How to Encrypt Data using TrueCrypt document) for storing sensitive
data. Otherwise, you can copy or move an existing TrueCrypt volume to the USB drive.
To access the TrueCrypt volume in the USB thumb drive using another PC:
1. Plug you USB thumb drive into the PC.
2. Double click the icon "TrueCrypt.exe" from G:\TrueCrypt (replace G: with the drive
letter of your USB thumb drive) to run TrueCrypt.
3. Mount the volume from the USB thumb drive (please refer to the steps 13-18 in the How
to Encrypt Data using TrueCrypt document)
