The Vizia RF + Wireless Home Control System
offers scalable, easy-to-install, remote control
of appliances and lighting, as well as one-button
scene and zone (area) lighting control to create
the perfect ambiance. And, unlike previous home
control systems, Vizia RF + does all of this without
experiencing interference or inconsistent
performance.
APPLICATIONS
A Vizia RF + Programming device or ThinkEssentials®
Professional Edition Software is required as an installation tool for the setup of a Leviton Vizia RF + network.
Leviton incorporates beneficial system features that
can only be accessed when using one of these devices.
These include the ability to create and operate
VRCPG
scheduled events using any device that includes a
clock feature, extended system testing and system
optimization techniques.
Once a Vizia RF + network is installed, the handheld
remote controller (VRCPG) can also be used as a
wireless controller to activate events and control
the system. For full functionality of the Vizia RF +
Network, at least one Leviton recommended programming device should be used. Each programming
device creates a unique Z-Wave® home ID intended
to allow multiple Z-Wave networks to operate in
the same local area.
The RF Handheld Remote Controller Programmer
uses the Z-Wave RF protocol to control other
Z-Wave enabled devices, including, but not limited
to, in-wall dimmers, switches and plug-in dimming
and appliance modules.

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
A Z-Wave enabled device must be within 75
feet of (open air) another Z-Wave enabled device
to participate in a Z-Wave wireless mesh network.
Any one switch can be associated with no more
than 5 controller devices. Each ON/OFF button
on a RF controller can be associated with up to
32 select Z-Wave compatible devices in a system
