the processor is ready to work.

switch. There are three positions:

X = loud

Sensitivity.
This switch is on the front of the speech processor.
If the red dot is at:
8 o’clock = maximum sensitivity
3 o’clock = medium sensitivity
11 o’clock = minimum sensitivity
Coil
To fit the coil cable, you need to take off
the battery pack. (see below). The four
pin plug is then inserted in the small
socket with the white dot the same side
as the switches.
Removing the battery unit.
Pull down the ear hook until both
pins are fully removed.
You can then pull away the battery
pack.
It is now possible to insert the coil
cable.
To put the battery pack back on,
insert the pins fully.
For small children you need to lock the earhook in place. A different
earhook is required with two small nuts on the pins.
Changing the batteries
Move the switch on the base of the
battery pack up and hold it there while
you slide across the cover of the pack.
Attaching accessories
On the angled part of the device open the
cover by pulling it out before pulling it up.
It is then possible to plug in leads to an FM
system or other external audio source.
