To set the timer, press the STANDBY button to go into standby mode. Press and hold the "TIMER/EQ" button, "TIMER"/ the hour digits will flash. Press the skip buttons to set the hour. Press the "TIMER/EQ" button to confirm, the minutes digits will flash, and press the skip buttons to set the minutes. Press the "TIMER/EQ" button to confirm.

The sleep function allows you to set a timer so the unit will turn off automatically after a certain amount of time. To use the sleep function, press and hold the SNOOZE / SLEEP button while the unit is on. You can adjust the sleep timer from 10 to 90 minutes.

You can connect an external audio source, such as a personal CD player or MP3 player, via the AUX IN jack. Plug one end of the cable (not included) into the AUX IN socket on the unit and plug the other end of the cable into the Headphone or Line Out socket of the external source.

If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-blower. Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush. Finger prints may be removed with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.
