Artisan Technology Group GOS 6103C oscilloscope User Manual

The GOS 6103C is a 100MHz, two-channel, dual-sweep, portable oscilloscope for general purpose use. It employs a high intensity 6-inch rectangular type cathode-ray tube with red internal graticule. A microprocessor-based operating system controls most of the functions of the instrument, including cursor readout and digitized panel setting.

Frequently asked questions

The GOS 6103C oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 100MHz. However, it also features a 20MHz bandwidth limit function, which can be activated to reduce the bandwidth of the vertical deflection system and trigger system to 20MHz. This is useful for observing or triggering signals with high frequency components superimposed on them.

The GOS 6103C oscilloscope has two channels. Each channel has 11 basic deflection factors from 2mV to 5V per division. The instrument offers various vertical modes including CH1, CH2, DUAL (CHOP/ALT), and ADD (DIFF mode can be established when CH2 is in the INV mode).

The GOS 6103C oscilloscope provides three triggering modes: AUTO, NORM, and TV. The AUTO mode automatically sets the time base range based on the input signal period. The NORM mode provides stable triggering over the full bandwidth of the vertical deflection system. The TV mode provides stable TV signal measurements on fields, frames, and lines.
