Symphony Bassinet/Changer

For use only with Summer Symphony Crib.

Please read the following instructions and warnings carefully

BEFORE assembly and USE of the Bassinet/Changer.

KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE.

For use with children from birth to 15 lbs.

Note: Colors and styles may vary.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS COULD

RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING BASSINET. KEEP

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.

FALL HAZARD - To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over 15lbs (6.8kg), whichever comes first. To prevent death or serious injury from falls, always keep child within arm's reach. Never leave child unattended.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD -

● In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet.

● On soft bedding.

NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use

ONLY the pad provided by Summer Infant.

To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.

Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.

Before each use always check to make sure the bassinet is properly assembled and securely fastened to the crib.

Adult assembly and supervision required.

DO NOT place more than one child at a time in the bassinet.

Check both the bassinet and crib for damaged hardware, loose joints, loose bolts or other fasteners, missing parts, sharp edges, or torn mesh/fabric before and after assembly and frequently during use. Securely tighten loose bolts and other fasteners. DO NOT use the bassinet or crib if any parts are missing, damaged or broken. Contact Summer Infant at 1-800-268-6237 for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.

DO NOT modify the bassinet or crib. DO NOT add any accessories unless they are recommended by the manufacturer.

Completely remove the bassinet and ALL of its components before using the crib. DO NOT store the bassinet in the crib.

BASSINET/CHANGER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

! WARNING:

Bassinet set up and use:

- Before use, the bassinet must be fully assembled and installed, including clips, mattress pad and mattress support tubes. Securely set-up bassinet and use according to manufacturer's instructions. NEVER use if any components are missing or damaged. DO NOT substitute parts.

- Always place bassinet away from hazards in the area that may cause injury to your child.

- FALL HAZARD - To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over 15 lbs (6.8 kg.) whichever comes first. Use bassinet with only one child at a time.

- NEVER modify bassinet or add any components that are not listed in the instructions manual. Do not store the bassinet in the crib. NEVER place a child under the bassinet.

- To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.

- NEVER leave bassinet in place when child is in crib.

- Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or cradle or attach strings to toys.

Lay out side tubes. Tube with two clips goes on changer end. Tube with one clip goes on bassinet end. NOTE: "X" on clips should face inside of crib.

Flip up bassinet sides to reveal sleeves.

Insert tubes into sleeves.

Attach to crib.

IMPORTANT: Insert cross brace tubes through sleeves (outlined in red) to provide proper support for bassinet and changer.

Make sure to hang diaper stacker on outside of crib. DO NOT hang diaper stacker inside bassinet.

Care: Wipe clean using mild soap and water. Do not use bleach.

Maintenance: Periodically inspect the Symphony Bassinet/Changer for missing or damaged parts. Discontinue use if parts are missing or damaged. Only use approved replacement parts available from www.summerinfant.com.
