You'll need an Allen key (4 mm), an Allen key (5 mm), a Ø6,5 mm (1/4”) drill, 5 pcs. M6 (1/4”) countersunk head screws and corresponding nuts, 5 x large washers or a backing plate, a ring spanner to match nuts, and bedding compound.

For normal use, it's recommended to dismantle, clean and lubricate the winch once every second year. For extensive use, such as racing, charter or blue water sailing, service it once every year.

Always use ANDERSEN WINCH GREASE, a high-quality silicone/Teflon grease product. Other types of grease, including "marine grease," are not suitable for winches.
