The Workpapers ribbon within Microsoft® Word and Excel® now provides the ability to insert a link to
any workpaper within that workpaper’s binder. For more information, see Inserting links from the
Workpapers CS ribbon in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. (Accounting CS Ideas Community,

We have added the ability to filter information within the Notes List portlet and the Workpapers List

We have addressed the following issues that, in certain circumstances, caused errors to occur in the
following situations.
 PDF files were closed and returned to a binder when the Workpaper Preview portlet was enabled
on multiple views in the Workpapers Dashboard.
 Documents were scanned into a binder.
 PPC SMART documents were uploaded when the PPC SMART workpaper reference contained
spaces. (Accounting CS Ideas Community, Idea 1724)
Reports



We have added new tax code variables to the following accounting reports.
 Adjusting Journal Entries
 Chart of Accounts - Detailed
 Consolidated Adjusting Journal Entries
 Tax Code Groupings
 Tax Reconciliation Worksheet - Detailed
Note: If your firm has modified the predefined version of a report, the application will not overwrite
your existing report with an updated version. If this is the case, you will need to make the necessary
changes to your customized report manually, or you will need to restore the latest predefined version
using the Report Designer. To do the latter, select the report from the Reports list pane in the Report
Designer and then choose File > Restore Default.
We have added the is in the list method to the Account filter in the Chart of Accounts tab in the
Filtering and Sorting section of report options for accounting reports and financial statements.
(Accounting CS Ideas Community, Idea 333)
We have added filtering for the following workpapers reports.

the variable tree that prevented them from masking the EIN numbers.


Idaho. Effective for first-quarter 2015 reporting, the Idaho Department of Labor requires all employers
to file quarterly unemployment reports electronically and will no longer accept paper copies of Forms
TAX020 and TAX026. As a result, we have made the following changes.
 We have combined Forms TAX020 and TAX026 into one collation for form processing.
 We have removed the Paper filing method and added the Internet filing method to the new
collation.
Louisiana. For Form LWC ES-4BC internet filers, we have added the Employees report
unemployment wages to other states checkbox to the Additional Information dialog.
Missouri. We have updated the liability adjustment for MO-941 form processing to split the
adjustment between the withholding and the compensation deduction.
New York. For withholding tax returns due on or after April 30, 2015, you must file and pay your
withholding tax returns electronically. To meet this requirement, you can use the current Internet filing
method available in the application.
Ohio. The state requires that payments for state and school district income tax withholding returns be
filed using the Ohio Business Gateway (https://ohiobusinessgateway.ohio.gov\obg). We continue to
work with the state to establish a testing and software transmission environment to provide the ability
to electronically file Forms IT-501, IT-941, IT-942, SD-101, and SD-141 within the application.
Because the testing and software transmission environment is still being set up, we recommend that
you file electronically via the alternate web file option available from the Ohio Business Gateway.
After we have been approved for filing, we will add the filing methods Electronic and Electronic with
Payment for Forms IT-501, IT-941, IT-942, SD-101, and SD-141 to the Forms grid in the Payroll
Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen.
Oregon. We have added the ability to print a zero-amount return for Form WR.
Vermont. We have updated the Healthcare Contribution rate used for Form C-101. Currently, each
employer is exempt from paying the Healthcare Contribution for up to four full-time equivalent (FTE)
employees. Effective for first-quarter 2015 reporting, employers must pay an increased Healthcare
Contribution amount for each FTE employee above the exemption level of four FTE employees.
Washington, DC. Per form instructions, we have updated Form FR-900B to display the dates that
the payments were made for each period and updated the Total fields to be non-editable.
Wyoming. We have updated the Workers’ Compensation Average Wage amounts for officers on
Forms WYO056 and WYO078.
Payroll form and filing information

addresses, tax payment information (for all tax types), agency contact information, new hire reporting
information, payroll resources, and tax calendar (to view and print tax deposit due dates and form due
dates for all federal, state, and certain local tax agents). Click the applicable jurisdiction on the map to
display the federal, state, and local tax form information within the tabbed pages in the lower section of
the portlet. For information on working with portlets, enter Dashboard portlet: Payroll Form & Filing

Accounting CS Payroll, for live payroll processing

the Preview Payroll button), now uses the primary and secondary sort order set in the Data Entry Defaults
section of the Enter Batch Payroll Options dialog (accessed via Edit > Options).
