INSTALLATION OF INDOOR UNIT
PREPARATION OF INDOOR UNIT
The indoor unit must be installed such that there
is no short circuit of the cool discharge with
return air. Respect the installation clearance (see
drawing C). and that the location is suitable for
piping and drainage.
Remove the unit from the packing, place it on flat
surface and remove the screws holding the front
panel in position, Carefully lift off the front panel
and remove to a safe place (see Figure F).
Routing of piping
The refrigerant piping can be routed to the unit in
a number of ways (left or right back of unit) by
using the cutout holes in the unit casing (see figure
G). Carefully bend the pipes to the required
position to align with the hole. For right hand and
rear side draw out, hold the bottom of the piping
and fix direction (see figure H). The condensation
drain hose should be taped to the pipes.
MOUNTING INSTALLATION PLATE
Ensure that the wall is sufficiently strong to
withstand the weight. If not, it is necessary to
reinforce the wall.
Use the plum line for
horizontal mounting
and fix with 4
appropriate screws.
In case of rear piping
draw out: drill a hole
of diameter 65mm. It
should be slightly
lower at the outside
wall (see figure E)
WATER DRAINAGE PIPING
The indoor drain pipe must be downward gradient
for smooth drainage. Avoid situation as shown in
figure below.
To unclip the tube, raise the piping clamp. (see
Figure L)
REFRIGERANT PIPING
MOUNT THE UNIT ONTO THE
INSTTALLATION PLATE
Hook the indoor unit onto the upper portion of
installation plate. (Engage the 1 hooks of rear
toop of the indoor unit with the upper edge of
the installation plate.)Ensure the hooks are
properly seated on the installation plate by
moving in left and right
If the pipe is too long, both the capacity and
reliability of unit will drop. As the number of
bends increase, resistance to the flow of
refrigerant system increase, thus lowering
cooling capacity and as a result the compressor
may become defective. Always choose the
shortest path.

OVERALL CHECKING
Before starting the unit, it is recommended to
check the following points:
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
Check for proper flow of the condensate
drain.
•
•
Check the ventilation fans and louver in the
indoor unit by turning it freely with hand.
Good air flow around the outdoor unit. Fasten the
electrical power cord.
Refrigerant pipe. Fasten it on the wall with clip.
Proper air filter position.
Check if any tools left out in the unit.
Accessibility to the unit.
Sufficient space for removing any panel from the
unit.
Ensure the fans turn freely.
The power supply voltage of the units are
conformed to the values indicated on the
instruction plate of outdoor unit.
Ensure that there is a good ground connection.
Check if circuit breaker is of the correct size.
