OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When the factory monitor is displaying navigation supply 12V+ to the BLUE switch cables
form the audio and video interface (e.g. connect to remote out from DVD) to switch audio
and video to your new external source. The
switch wire will then need to be deactivated
when you revert back to any of the other functions if you wish to listen to the audio from another factory source.

Ensure the vehicle is equipped with Navigation.

OPV-1AST (VIDEO)

Connections for the video interface are made at the
braided style cable at the SCREEN, to remove the
panel that houses the monitor open the monitor and
pull the complete panel. Remove 4 screws to remove
the monitor.

OPV-1AST (AUDIO)
Insert OPTICAL leads into OPV-1AST (AUDIO) loom and
car loom to create loop, see diagram below

Screen
Connections for the audio interface are made at the
black fibre optic plug at the top of the main head unit,
this can also be accessed by removing the top panel
described above and in photo below

CAR CONNECTOR
To remove the (out) fibre optic cable from the factory connector you will need to remove the black outer casing and
push out the blue locking insert. You will need to do the
same to insert the cable into the supplied loom. (shown in
previous fig)

Connect the cable AUDIO sockets on the OPV-1AST to
your audio source
Connect the video socket on the video interface to your
video source
