Frequently asked questions

Connect the output of your effects unit to the CTM 300's EFFECTS RETURN input, and the output of the CTM 300's EFFECTS SEND output to the input of your effects unit. This will allow you to use your effects unit in the signal path of your CTM 300 amplifier.

Set the amplifier to MUTED and Standby ON. Select each tube in turn and using an insulated jewelers screwdriver adjust the trimmer on the rear panel until the meter reads 0db. If the tube cannot be adjusted to the correct reading, then the output tube may need to be replaced. After adjusting the bias, return the meter to audio mode.

The Speakon outputs are used for connecting the CTM 300 to speaker cabinets. The outputs are for 2, 4 and 8 Ohm cabinet configurations. Make sure that the correct output is selected for your speaker cabinet's impedance load, as incorrect use could damage the amplifier.
