Eine neue Freiheit
Siedle Scope vereint die Welten der
audiovisuellen Türkommunikation
und der Festnetz-Telefonie, es ist
Video-Innenstation und schnurloses Festnetztelefon in einem.
Das heißt: Wo auch immer Sie sich
befinden – ob in der Küche, im Bad,
im Garten, im Keller, … –, Scope
zeigt Ihnen live, wer vor der Tür
steht. Zugleich ist Siedle Scope ein
vollwertiges Festnetztelefon mit

Sie können an der Basisstation
von Siedle Scope auch DECTMobilteile anderer Hersteller
betreiben, wenn diese mit dem
GAP-Standard kompatibel sind
(GAP-fähiges Endgerät). Im Betrieb
an Siedle Scope sind jedoch nur
Grundfunktionen (z. B. Telefonieren,
Audio-Türruf annehmen, usw.)
möglich, und nicht der volle
Funktionsumfang von Siedle Scope
(z. B. Video-Türruf annehmen, zentrale Adressbuchverwaltung usw.).
Herstellerspezifische Funktionen
Ihres GAP-fähigen Endgeräts (z. B.
Mailbox abhören) sind gar nicht oder
nur bedingt möglich.
App-Anbindung
Scope S 851-… ermöglicht die
Anbindung der Siedle-App für
In-Home an iOS-Geräten (iPhone
und iPad).
Administration per Software
Kein umständliches Bedienen über
die Telefontastatur. Eine browserbasierte, plattformunabhängige
Software macht die Verwaltung der
Grundfunktionen ganz einfach und
komfortabel.

Das Smart Gateway Mini SGM 650-0
entspricht der Basisstation S 851-0.
Für den Betrieb des SGM 650-0 ist
die Siedle App für Smart Gateway
Mini erforderlich. Durch Erweiterung
des SGM 650-0 um ein Mobilteil
SZM 851-0 wird die Einheit zu einem
Siedle Scope S 851-0.

Erklären Sie Kindern und hilfebedürftigen Personen die Inhalte der
Sicherheitshinweise und Gefahren
im Umgang mit technisch komplexen Produkten auf verständliche
Art und Weise.
Sie können bei Stromausfall keinen
Notruf absetzen!
Bei Stromausfall ist Siedle Scope
nicht betriebsfähig.
Elektrische Spannung
Einbau, Montage und Service­
arbeiten elektrischer Geräte dürfen
ausschließlich durch eine ElektroFachkraft erfolgen.
Nicht bestimmungsgemäße
Bedienung kann zu Verletzungen
führen.
• Werfen Sie die Geräte nicht und
lassen Sie diese nicht fallen!
• Benutzen Sie die Geräte nicht,
wenn sie schadhaft sind, z. B. bei
Schäden am Gerätegehäuse (scharfe
Kanten oder offen liegende Teile)!
• Halten Sie das Mobilteil niemals
mit der Rückseite an das Ohr,
wenn Sie die Freisprechfunktion
benutzen oder das Mobilteil klingelt. Schwerwiegende Hörschäden
können die Folge sein!
Akku-Sicherheit
• Beachten Sie die folgenden Hin­
weise, anderenfalls kann es zu
Explosionen, elektrischen Schlägen
oder zur Leckage der Akkus
kommen. Brände, schwere Körper­
verletzungen oder Beschädigungen
der Umgebung wären die Folge.
• Halten Sie den Akku von Hitze­
quellen und offenen Flammen fern!
• Setzen Sie den Akku keinem
starken Druck aus!
• Tauchen Sie den Akku nicht in
Wasser, Salzwasser, andere Flüssig­
keiten/Substanzen anderer Form!
• Lassen Sie den Akku möglichst
nicht fallen, und schützen Sie ihn
vor Stößen und Schlägen, die das
Gehäuse beschädigen könnten.
Andernfalls kann es zu Explosionen
oder zum Leck werden der Akkus
kommen, die Brände, Verletzungen/
Beschädigungen der Umgebung zur
Folge haben können.
• Laden Sie den Akku im Mobilteil
nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Ori­
ginal-Ladeschale und dem OriginalSteckernetzteil auf.
• Die Ladeschale und das Stecker­
netzteil wurden ausschließlich für die
Verwendung mit dem Siedle Scope
Mobilteil entwickelt. Verwenden
Sie sie nicht mit anderen Produkten
oder Akkus. Es besteht die Gefahr
von Überhitzung und Verformung,
wodurch Brände und elektrische
Schläge ausgelöst werden können.
• Entsorgen Sie den Akku umweltgerecht. Kleben Sie die Kontakte
mit Klebestreifen oder sonstigem
Isoliermaterial ab.
Eine direkte Berührung mit anderen
Metallgegenständen kann zu
Bränden und Explosionen führen.
• Falls ein Akku ausläuft und Augen,
Mund, Haut oder Kleidung mit
den ausgetretenen Substanzen in
Berührung kommen, spülen Sie die
betroffene Stelle unverzüglich mit
Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt
auf!
• Zerlegen oder modifizieren Sie
niemals den Akku!
Medizinische Geräte/
Einrichtungen
• Verwenden Sie persönliche medizinische Geräte wie Herzschrittmacher,
prüfen Sie deren Verträglichkeit
gegenüber hochfrequenten elektromagnetischen Strahlungen im DECTBereich.
• Bei Verwendung mit Hörgeräten
können Brumm- oder Kopplungs­
geräusche auftreten. Kontaktieren
Sie im Problemfall den HörgeräteService.
Wichtige Einbauhinweise
• Dieses Produkt und seine einzelnen Bestandteile, sind für die
Verwendung in Feuchträumen
nicht geeignet und für den Einsatz
in explosionsgefährdeten Räumen
nicht zugelassen!Verwenden Sie die
Ladeschale mit Steckernetzteil nicht
in Bade- und Duschräumen.
• Montieren Sie die Basisstation an
einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort
ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Stellen Sie die Basisstation und
das Mobilteil mindestens 1 Meter
entfernt von anderen elektrischen
Geräten auf.
• Achten Sie auf genügend
Abstand zu Störungsquellen wie
Mikrowellengeräten oder Elektro­
geräten mit großem Metallgehäuse.

Hinweise
• Verwenden Sie im Mobilteil nur
den Original-Siedle-Akku.
• Die heutigen Möbel sind mit einer
unübersehbaren Vielfalt von Lacken
und Kunststoffen beschichtet.
Bestandteile dieser Stoffe können
bei Tischgeräten zur Erweichung
der Kunststofffüße führen und
damit zu Beeinträchtigungen der
Möbeloberfläche. Wir bitten um
Verständnis, dass der Hersteller nicht
haftbar gemacht werden kann.
• Bewahren Sie alle mitgelieferten
Dokumente von Siedle Scope auf.
Informieren Sie sich regelmäßig
über mögliche Änderungen im
Downloadbereich auf der Siedle
Homepage. Geben Sie Siedle Scope
nur mit vollständigen und aktuellen
Dokumenten an Dritte weiter.
• Entfernen Sie eine defekte
Basisstation, Mobilteil oder
Ladeschale mit Steckernetzteil
umgehend aus dem Zugangsbereich
der Anwender. Setzen Sie defekte
Geräte außer Betrieb. Erneuern Sie
defekte Geräte umgehend oder
lassen diese reparieren.
Schützen Sie Ihr Eigentum!
• Schließen Sie auch tagsüber Hausund Wohnungstüren ab, wenn
sich darin niemand befindet. Nicht
abgeschlossene Türen ermöglichen
Einbrechern/Dieben einen leichten
Zugang zu Ihrem Eigentum.
• Das Scope-Mobilteil ist – wie ein
Hausschlüssel – sorgfältig und diebstahlsicher aufzubewahren, da sich
damit auch von außen Ihre Haustüre
öffnen lässt.
• Tragen Sie Sorge dafür, dass es
nicht in unbefugte Hände gelangt!
• Die Siedle App für Smart Gateway
Mini kann von jedem beliebigen
Standort als Türöffner verwendet
werden! Bewahren Sie Smartphones/
Tablets, auf denen die Siedle App
aktiviert ist, diebstahlsicher auf.
Schützen Sie diese Geräte mit einem
Code/Kennwort vor unbefugter
Verwendung. Verwenden Sie immer
die aktuellsten Schutzmechanismen
die auf Ihrem Mobiltelefon zur
Verfügung stehen.

Rechtliche Hinweise
• Aufnahmen von Personen,
die unwissentlich fotografiert
wurden, dürfen nicht veröffentlicht
oder auf öffentlich zugänglichen
Bildspeichern abgelegt werden.
• Personen die unwissentlich
fotografiert wurden, haben einen
Löschungsanspruch auf der
Grundlage des Rechts am eigenen
Bild. Speichern Sie keine Bilder von
fremden Personen auf sozialen
Netzwerken oder versenden diese
per Email an andere/öffentliche
Personengruppen. Sie verletzten
damit die Persönlichkeitsrechte
dieser Personen.
• Sollten gespeicherte Bilder für
privat-/strafrechtliche oder polizeiliche Ermittlungen verwendet
werden, klären Sie dies vorher
mit einem Rechtsanwalt oder der
zuständigen Polizeidienststelle ab.
• Der gesetzlich rechtmäßige
Betrieb/Installation dieses Gerätes
und seiner gesamten System­
bestandteile (Hardware und
Software), liegen immer im Verant­
wortungsbereich des Betreibers und
nicht im Verantwortungsbereich des
Geräteherstellers.
Pflegehinweise
• Die richtige Pflege von Siedle
Scope ist abhängig von der ausgewählten Geräteoberfläche. Falsche
Reinigung, aggressive Reiniger
und Scheuermittel können die
Oberfläche beschädigen.
• Beachten und reinigen Sie das
Innengerät gemäß den aktuell gültigen ausführlichen Pflegehinweisen
im Downloadbereich unter
www.siedle.com.
Kontakt mit Flüssigkeiten
• Bei starkem Kontakt oder
Verunreinigung mit Flüssigkeiten
(z. B. Wasserschaden durch
Rohrbruch, Mobilteil in Badewanne
gefallen), befolgen Sie die Punkte
1 bis 4 und nehmen Sie umgehend
Kontakt mit einem Servicepartner
auf.
• Ist die Basisstation, Mobilteil
oder Ladeschale mit Steckernetzteil
mit einer Flüssigkeit in Kontakt
gekommen, führen Sie bitte folgende Schritte durch:
1Bei Geräten mit Steckernetzteil:
Sicherung der Steckdose ausschalten
und Steckernetzteil aus der Steck­
dose entfernen. Kontaktieren Sie
ggf. eine Elektrofachkraft um die
Elektroinstallation überprüfen zu
lassen.
2Bei Mobilteilen: Gerät sofort
abschalten, Akku entnehmen und
Akkufach geöffnet lassen.
3Gerät nach eigenem Ermessen so
aufstellen, dass die Flüssigkeit aus
dem Gerät vollständig abtropfen
kann.
4Gerät mit einem saugfähigen Tuch
trockentupfen.
5Gerät mindestens 72 Stunden
an einem warmen und trockenen
Ort trocknen lassen (Kein Ofen/
Mikrowelle oder Ähnliches verwenden).
6Gerät erst wieder in Betrieb
nehmen, wenn es vollständig
getrocknet und frei von Verun­
reinigungen der Flüssigkeit ist.

InbetriebnahmeVoraussetzungen erfüllen
• Die Daten der Türsprechanlage
mit Siedle Scope werden über den
Siedle In-Home-Bus übertragen.
Die Programmierung ist im
Systemhandbuch In-Home-Bus:
Video beschrieben.
• Im Auslieferungszustand sind die
Geräte zunächst nicht programmiert.
Nach dem ersten Einschalten des
Bus-Video-Netzgerätes wird jedem
der angeschlossenen Geräte auf
dem Strang eine eindeutige Adresse
zugewiesen.
• Nach erfolgter Installation müssen
die Geräte aufeinander „eingelernt“
werden, so dass die Funktionen auch
korrekt ausgeführt werden können
(z. B. Klingeln des Bus-Telefons,
sobald die Ruftaste gedrückt wird).
• Mit der Bus-Programmier-Software
BPS 650-… ab V2.10 kann die
gesamte Funktion einer In-HomeAnlage über einen Windows-PC
programmiert werden. Für den
Anschluss des PC an die In-HomeInstallation ist das ProgrammierInterface PRI 602-… USB und
das Zubehör-Bus-Versorgung
ZBVG 650-… erforderlich. Das
ZBVG 650-… wird innerhalb
einer Anlage einmal in einem
BNG/BVNG 650-… gesteckt. Das
PRI 602-… USB kann fest in einer
Anlage installiert werden oder kann
über eine 8-polige Westernbuchse
auch gesteckt werden. Die Software
BPS 650-… ist im Lieferumfang des
PRI 602-… USB enthalten. Aktuelle
Updates zur BPS 650-… sind im
Downloadbereich unter
www.siedle.com zu finden.
Näheres zur Vorgehensweise der
Inbetriebnahme mit der Bus-Pro­
grammier-Software BPS 650-…

• Um den vollen Funktionsumfang
von Siedle Scope, Smart Gateway
Mini und Siedle App für Smart
Gateway Mini innerhalb der
Sprechanlage nutzen zu können,
ist eine Programmierung mit der
Programmiersoftware notwendig.
• Wird eine manuelle Program­
mierung/Plug+Play-Programmierung
durchgeführt, können nur ausgesuchte Funktionen programmiert
werden.

Voraussetzungen:
• Die Türsprechanlage wurde gemäß
Systemhandbuch In-Home-Bus:
Video fachgerecht installiert/
montiert und ist mit einem Pro­
grammierinterface für die Program­
mierung mit PC/Laptop vorbereitet.
• Die örtliche Position aller Geräte ist
dokumentiert.
• Alle gewünschten Tastenbe­
legungen/Funktionen der einzelnen
Geräte sind dokumentiert.
• Ein PC/Laptop mit installierter
BPS-Programmiersoftware ab
Version 2.10 steht für die Inbetrieb­
nahme zur Verfügung.
• Der Lieferumfang S 851-0/
SGM 650-0/SZM 851-0 steht zur
Verfügung.
• Netzwerkinformationen sind vorhanden.
• Der Inbetriebnehmer verfügt über
Netzwerk-Grundkenntnisse.

Sie den Überblick – sowohl bei
der Inbetriebnahme als auch bei
zukünftigen Modifikationen und
Erweiterungen.
Die Systemdokumentation sollte
für die Inbetriebnahme mindestens
folgende Punkte enthalten:
• Art, Funktionen und Position aller
Geräte im Gebäude
• Benennung der Geräte
• Gewünschte Tastenbelegungen/
Schaltfunktionen an den verschie­
denen Geräten
• Benennung der Schaltfunktionen
Die Wunschbenennung von Geräten
und Schaltfunktionen, können mit
der Programmierung im System hinterlegt werden.
Werden keine Benennungen vorgegeben, werden in den Bedienober­
flächen der Programmiersoftware
und des Siedle-Scope-Mobilteils die
technischen Namen der jeweiligen
Geräte angezeigt (z. B. BTSV 850-…
statt Kinderzimmer).

Mobilteil aufladen
Verwenden Sie im Mobilteil nur den
Original-Siedle-Akku.
Die Lade- und Betriebszeiten
sind abhängig von der Nutzung
von Siedle Scope sowie von der
Kapazität und Alter des Akkus.
Ladezeiten:
• Empfohlene Erstladung: min. 3
Stunden
• Mindestladung vor
Inbetriebnahme: min. 30 Minuten
• Standardladung: min. 3 Stunden
Betriebszeiten:
• Standby-Betrieb: ca. 100 Stunden
• Gesprächszeit: ca. 5 Stunden
Das Mobilteil wird bereits mit
fertig eingelegtem Akku geliefert.
Siedle empfiehlt für den ersten
Ladevorgang des Mobilteils eine
Dauer von ca. 3 Stunden.
Im Auslieferungszustand ist der Akku
vorgeladen. Durch Lagerung und
Transport können sich Entladungen
ergeben. Das Mobilteil muss vor
der ersten Verwendung vollständig
aufgeladen sein (siehe Displaysymbol
„Akku-Ladezustand“).

Auf der Ladeschale befinden sich
2 Tasten:
• Linke Taste mit Mundsymbol:
Ruf annehmen/beenden im
Freisprechmodus
• Rechte Taste mit

Tür öffnen
Beide Tasten funktionieren
nur, wenn das Mobilteil in der
Ladeschale steht. Ansonsten sind
beide Tasten ohne Funktion.
Vorgehensweise:
1Prüfen Sie den Lieferumfang
auf Vollständigkeit.
2Entnehmen Sie dem Lieferum­
fang folgende Komponenten:
• Produktinformation S 851-0
• Inbetriebnahmeanleitung S 851-0
• Siedle Scope Mobilteil mit Akku
(Li-Ionen 3,7 V)
• Ladeschale mit Steckernetzteil
3Schließen Sie die Ladeschale an
das Stromnetz an.
4Stellen Sie das Mobilteil in die
Ladeschale.

Basisstation montieren und
anschließen
• Der Montageort der Basisstation
sollte möglichst zentral im
Gebäude liegen, um eine optimale
Funkübertragung zu ermöglichen.
Der Aufstellungsort der Ladeschale
kann frei gewählt werden, sinnvollerweise wird ein zentraler Platz
gewählt.
Wenn Sie Siedle Scope/
Smart Gateway Mini mit der
Programmierung Plug+Play in den
In-Home-Bus einbinden wollen,
darf die Basisstation zum jetzigen
Zeitpunkt noch nicht mit dem
In-Home-Bus verbunden sein.
Sollte die Siedle Scope/Smart
Gateway Mini nachträglich in
eine bereits programmierte
Sprechanlage integriert werden, ist
die manuelle Programmierung
oder die Programmierung mit PC
besser geeignet.
Für den Betrieb der Basisstation
sind 4 Anschlussdosen an dem
Aufstellplatz erforderlich:
• 230 V Steckdose für die
Versorgung der Basisstation
• TAE-Anschlussdose für die
Telefonie (6F codiert)
• 8-polige RJ45-Anschlussdose für
den In-Home-Bus: Video
• 8-polige RJ45-Anschlussdose für
den Netzwerk-Anschluss (LAN) an
einen WLAN-Router
Vorgehensweise:
1Die Basisstation kann wahlweise
an der Wand montiert oder aufgestellt werden. Auf eine ausreichende
Luftzirkulation ist zu achten.
2Telefon-Anschlusskabel an der

Hinweise:
•Die Basisstation wird im
Auslieferungszustand mit aktivem
DHCP-Client ausgeliefert und fordert eine Netzwerkadresse vom

•Die IP-Adresse der Basisstation
erhalten Sie entweder über das
Scope-Mobilteil (Hauptmenü

ein Netzwerkkabel mit dem bestehenden Netzwerk (Router/WLANRouter/Managed Switch/Server).
2Verbinden Sie den PC/Laptop über
ein Netzwerkkabel mit dem bestehenden Netzwerk (Router/WLANRouter/Managed Switch/Server).
3Ermitteln Sie die Netzwerkadresse
der Basisstation über das bestehende
Netzwerk oder mit dem Scope
Mobilteil.
4Öffnen Sie den FirefoxWebbrowser und geben Sie die
ermittelte IP‑Adresse der Basisstation
ein (z. B. 192.168.178.xxx).
5Die Anmeldeseite der Basisstation
wird geöffnet.
Erreichbarkeit der Basisstation:
Die Basisstation ist unter der vom
DHCP-Server vergebenen IP-Adresse
erreichbar (z. B. 192.168.178.xxx).

(IP-Adresse und Subnetzmaske) des
Netzwerks (Router/WLAN-Router/
Managed Switch/Server) muss
bekannt sein.
•Sie benötigen für die Basisstation
und Ihren PC/Laptop eine unterschiedliche IP-Adresse und die
Subnetzmaske, um beide Geräte
über das bestehende Netzwerk verbinden zu können.
Vorgehensweise:
1Die Netzwerkeinstellungen der
Basisstation befinden sich im
Auslieferungszustand (DHCP-Client
aktiv).
2Schließen Sie den PC per Netz­
werkkabel an der Buchse LAN der
Basisstation an.
3Öffnen Sie den FirefoxWebbrowser und geben Sie die
IP‑Adresse der Basisstation ein
(Standard: 169.254.1.1).
4Die Anmeldeseite wird geöffnet.

Programmierung
Damit Sie die Türsprechanlage
nutzen können, müssen im
In-Home-Bus zumindest die
Grundfunktionen „Türruf“, „Tür
öffnen“ und „Tür anwählen“ programmiert werden.
Die Daten der Türsprechanlage
mit Siedle Scope werden über den
Siedle In-Home-Bus übertragen.
Die Programmierung ist im
Systemhandbuch In-Home-Bus:
Video beschrieben.
Zusätzlich zu den
Grundfunktionen können Sie per
Programmiersoftware BPS 650-…
weitere Funktionen programmieren. Für den Anschluss des
PC an den In-Home-Bus: Video
sind ein Programmierinterface
PRI 602-… USB sowie eine
Steckkarte ZBVG 650-… erforderlich.
Die vorgenommene Konfiguration
muss über die BPS 650-… in Form
einer XML-Datei gespeichert und
anschließend an die Basisstation
übertragen werden. Informationen

Wichtige Hinweise vor der
Programmierung
• Die gesamte Installation muss
fertig gestellt sein. Bei Plug+Play
Programmierung dürfen die Gehäuse
der Bus-Innengeräte noch nicht
geschlossen sein. Die Siedle Scope
Basisstation darf nicht mit dem
In-Home-Bus verbunden sein.
• Vor Beginn der Programmierung
sollten alle Tasten beschriftet sein,
damit diese auch den entsprechenden Bus-Innengeräten zugeordnet werden können.
• Es kann im Programmiermodus
immer nur ein Türlautsprecher aktiv
geschaltet sein.
• Wird im Programmiermodus
am aktiven Türlautsprecher eine
bereits programmierte Ruftaste
länger als 3 Sekunden gedrückt,
so ertönt nach einer Sekunde ein
Warnton, nach 3 Sekunden der
Bestätigungston. Danach ist diese
Ruftaste gelöscht, wenn kein BusInnengerät aktiv war. Ist jedoch zu
diesem Zeitpunkt ein Bus-Innengerät
aktiv, wird diese Taste mit der neuen
Adresse überschrieben.
• Alle BNG/BVNG 650-… müssen
an Netzspannung 230 V AC angeschlossen sein.
• In Mehrstrangsystemen mit mehreren BNG/BVNG 650-…, werden
durch Betätigen der Taste Prog.Mode an einem BNG/BVNG 650-…
auch alle anderen angeschlossenen BNG/BVNG 650-… in den
Programmiermodus geschaltet.
• In Mehrstrangsystemen muss an
jedem BNG/BVNG 650-… eine
andere Adresse eingestellt sein. Die
Adresse „0“ ist nicht zulässig!
• In Mehrstrangsystemen muss
zusätzlich das Zubehör-BusVersorgung ZBVG 650-… einmal in
einem BNG/BVNG 650-… gesteckt
sein. In jedem BVNG 650-… muss
das Zubehör Bus-Video-Netzgerät
ZBVNG 650-… gesteckt sein.

1 Programmiermodus einschalten.
Am BNG/BVNG 650-… die Taste
Prog.-Mode kurz drücken. Die
LED 1 blinkt im 2-SekundenRhythmus für die Anzeige, dass der
Programmiermodus aktiv ist.
2 An der Türstation die Licht-/
Programmiertaste 4 Sekunden
gedrückt halten. Danach ist ein
langgezogener Quittungston zu
hören, der alle 5 Sekunden kurz
wiederholt wird, solange der
Programmiermodus aktiv ist.
4 An der Türstation die gewünschte
Ruftaste für 4 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, bis am Türlautsprecher ein
langgezogener Ton zu hören ist. Die
Ruftaste ist jetzt dem Bus-Innengerät
zugeordnet, die Sprechverbindung
besteht nicht mehr.
5 Die Ruftaste ist jetzt dem Scope/
Smart Gateway Mini fest zugewiesen.
Weitere Teilnehmer nach der gleichen Vorgehensweise programmieren oder Programmiervorgang
beenden.
3 Prog.-Taste an der Basisstation
für 4 Sekunden drücken. Danach
blinkt die LED Prog. im SekundenRhythmus. Das Siedle Scope/
Smart Gateway Mini ist jetzt im
Programmiermodus.

Programmierung – Plug+Play
Die Plug+Play-Programmierung
bietet die Möglichkeit, eine
In-Home-Bus-Anlage ohne
Programmierkenntnisse in
Betrieb zu nehmen. Die gesamte
Installation aller Teilnehmer muss
fertig gestellt sein. Die Gehäuse
der Bus-Telefone dürfen noch
nicht geschlossen sein. Am BusNetzgerät muss der Plug+Play
Modus aktiviert werden. Die
Ruftasten der Bus-Tasten-Module
erhalten durch den Anschluss an
das Bus-Türlautsprecher-Modul eine
fortlaufende Nummer zugewiesen.
In dieser Reihenfolge werden
anschließend die Bus-Telefone auf
die Grundplatten eingerastet.

Voraussetzungen für Plug+Play:
• Plug+Play-Programmierung ist nur
möglich mit neuen Bus-Innenge­
räten, neuem Bus-Türlautsprecher
BTLM 650-04/BTLE 050-03, BusTasten-Module BTM 650-01, -02,
-03, -04, BRMA 050-01 und BusNetzgeräte BNG/BVNG 650-…
• Plug+Play-Programmierung funktioniert nur für Bus-Innengeräte innerhalb eines Stranges.
• Mehrere Türstationen in einem
Strang werden mit der gleichen
Belegung gleichzeitig programmiert, z. B. zwei Türstationen mit
4 Klingeltasten haben die gleiche
Zuordnung.
Bei mehr als einem Bus-TastenModul erfolgt die Nummerierung der
Ruftasten in der Reihenfolge, wie
die Module über die Verbindungen
IN/OUT miteinander verbunden
werden.

Bei Smart Gateway Mini/Siedle
Scope darf die Basisstation nicht
mit dem In-Home-Bus verbunden
sein. Das Aufsetzen des Bus-Telefons

Programmierung mit PC
Mit der Bus-Programmier-Software
BPS 650-… kann die gesamte
Funktion einer In-Home-Anlage über
einen Windows-PC programmiert
werden.
Für den Anschluss des PC an die
In-Home-Installation ist das Program­
mier-Interface PRI 602-… USB
und das Zubehör-Bus-Versorgung
ZBVG 650-… erforderlich.
Das ZBVG 650-… wird innerhalb
einer Anlage einmal in einem
BNG/BVNG 650-… gesteckt. Das
PRI 602-… USB kann fest in einer
Anlage installiert werden oder kann
über eine 8-polige Westernbuchse
auch gesteckt werden.
Die Software BPS 650-… ist im
Lieferumfang des PRI 602-… USB
enthalten.

sich.
5Klicken Sie auf Alles suchen
und hinzufügen. Es öffnet sich ein
Bestätigungsdialog.
6Bestätigen Sie den Dialog Soll
die Konfiguration aller In-HomeGeräte ebenfalls erfasst werden?
mit Ja.
7Das In-Home-Bus-System wird
vollständig ausgelesen. Die
Dauer dieses Vorgangs ist abhängig
von der Anzahl der installierten
Komponenten/Endgeräten. Nach
Beendigung des Vorgangs, sehen
Sie auf der linken Seite der BPSSoftware eine Gerätestruktur die alle
im In-Home-Bus erkannten Geräte
enthält. Sollte die Aufstellung nicht
vollständig sein, überprüfen Sie die
Installation auf mögliche Fehler und
wiederholen den Vorgang.
8Klicken Sie auf die einzelnen
Komponenten/Endgeräten in
der Gerätestruktur, um diese zu
konfigurieren. Die jeweiligen
Konfigurationsmöglichkeit
befindet sich rechts von der angezeigten Gerätestruktur. Bei einer
Änderung verfärbt sich das jeweilige Gerätesymbol rot.
9Konfigurieren Sie das Siedle
Scope/Smart Gateway Mini.
10Speichern Sie die
Systemkonfiguration auf dem
PC/Laptop, um diese zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nicht noch einmal
auslesen zu müssen. Sie können
Änderungen an der Konfiguration
vornehmen, speichern und zu einem
späteren Zeitpunkt in das In-HomeBus-System übertragen.
11Klicken Sie auf Schreiben, wenn
die Konfiguration durchgeführt und
gespeichert ist. Es öffnet sich ein
Bestätigungsdialog.
12Klicken Sie im
Bestätigungsdialog Schreibe
Konfigurationsdaten zu In-HomeGeräten auf Alle markieren. Alle
Listeneinträge sind markiert.
13Klicken Sie auf Konfiguration
schreiben. Die Dauer dieses Vor­
gangs ist abhängig von der Anzahl
der installierten Komponenten/
Endgeräten und wird im Dialog
unten angezeigt.
14Nach erfolgreicher
Übertragung der In-Home-BusKonfiguration erscheint eine
Bestätigungsmeldung Schreiben
aller markierten Geräte erfolgreich. Bestätigen Sie die Meldung
mit Klick auf OK.
15Exportieren Sie nun die
In-Home-Bus-Konfiguration als
XML-Konfigurationsdatei für die
Basisstation.
16Klicken Sie auf Trennen, um die
aktive Verbindung zum In-Home-Bus
zu trennen.

Die vorgenommene Konfiguration
muss über die BPS 650-… in Form
einer XML-Datei gespeichert und
anschließend an die Basisstation
übertragen werden. Informationen
zum Einlesen der Konfiguration in
die Basisstation finden Sie auf/ab

Vorgehensweise:
1Klicken Sie auf den Reiter
Übertragung.
2Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche
speichern…, um die Konfiguration
von Siedle Scope als XML-Datei
auf dem PC/Laptop zu speichern.
3Es öffnet sich das Fenster
Speichern unter.
4Wählen Sie einen Speicherort

Allgemeine Hinweise
Die Konfiguration der Basisstation
kann über folgende Wege erfolgen:
Direkte LAN-Verbindung zwischen
PC/Notebook und Basisstation ->
Teilkonfiguration möglich. Kein
Systemupdate möglich da keine
Internetverbindung besteht.
LAN-Verbindung über ein bestehendes Netzwerk (WLAN-Router) mit
Internetverbindung -> Vollständige
Konfiguration der Basisstation möglich. Die IP-Adresse der Basisstation
muss im Menü des WLAN-Routers
ermittelt werden.
Wenn Sie einen anderen Web­
browser als Mozilla Firefox verwenden, kann es zu Darstellungs­

System aktualisieren
Die Systemaktualisierung ist nur
möglich, wenn Sie die Basisstation/
Smart Gateway Mini an einen
Router mit Internetverbindung
angeschlossen haben. In diesem
Fall bekommt die Basisstation/Smart
Gateway Mini eine IP-Adresse vom
Router zugeteilt, wenn die automatische Adressvergabe (DHCP) aktiv
ist. Steht zur Inbetriebnahme keine
Internetverbindung zur Verfügung,
führen Sie eine Systemaktualisierung
zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt durch.
Vorgehensweise:
1Klicken Sie auf Update.
2Das Menü Update wird angezeigt.
3Klicken Sie auf Download.
4Der Siedle-Downloadbereich
öffnet sich im Webbrowser.
5Vergleichen Sie die Software­
version von der Basisstation und der
im Siedle-Downloadbereich enthaltenen Software
(z. B. Basisstation = 01.22.0.852w,
Siedle-Downloadbereich =
01.22.1.890w).
6Ist eine höhere Versionsnummer
vorhanden, wählen Sie die neuere
Softwareversion aus und speichern diese auf dem Computer.
7Entpacken Sie die heruntergeladene komprimierte Software.

Netzwerkeinstellungen ändern
Im Auslieferungszustand ist DHCP
aktiviert. Im DHCP-Modus bekommt
die Basisstation alle Netzwerkeinstel­
lungen vom Router/Managed
Switch zugeteilt. Alle Änderungen
der Netzwerkeinstellungen wirken
sich auf die Erreichbarkeit der
Basisstation am PC/Siedle App im
Netzwerk aus.
Wenn Sie einen anderen Web­
browser als Mozilla Firefox verwenden, kann es zu Darstellungs­
fehlern kommen.
Vorgehensweise:
1Klicken Sie auf Netzwerk.
2Die Netzwerkeinstellungen werden
angezeigt.
3Klicken Sie auf die quadratische
Schaltfläche bei DHCP.
4Die Netzwerkeinstellungen sind
weiß unterlegt und änderbar.
5Führen Sie die Änderungen an
den Netzwerkeinstellungen durch.
6Klicken Sie auf Übernehmen.

Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen
Die Basisstation kann Datum und
Uhrzeit automatisch über den
Netzwerkrouter synchronisieren,
wenn eine Netzwerkverbindung
besteht. Alternativ können Sie das
Datum und die Uhrzeit manuell
einstellen.
Die Basisstation benötigt ein korrektes Datum und Uhrzeit, damit
beispielsweise der Türöffner auch
über die Siedle App für Smart
Gateway Mini ausgelöst werden
kann und alle aufgenommenen
Türbilder mit dem richtigen Datum
und Uhrzeit der Aufnahme versehen
werden können.

ist nur noch mit der neuen PIN

Telefonieeinstellungen
Ist die Basisstation/Smart Gateway
Mini an eine Telefonanlage angeschlossen, müssen Sie eventuell
verschiedene Einstellungen in der
Basisstation/Smart Gateway Mini
vornehmen, um einen reibungslosen
Betrieb an der Telefonanlage zu
ermöglichen.
Im Menü Telefonie können Sie
folgende Einstellungen ändern:
Flashzeit (300 ms): Zeitlich definierte Leitungsunterbrechung,
um im bestehenden Gespräch,
beim Auslösen des Flash eine
Telefoniefunktion aufzurufen
(z. B. Rückfrage)
Bitte beachten Sie, dass falsche
Einstellungen im Menü Telefonie
dazu führen können, dass Sie
keine externen Telefonate
führen können! Ist die Basisstation
direkt mit dem Festnetzanschluss
verbunden, müssen Sie hier keine
Einstellungen vornehmen.
Wahlpause (0 ms): Zeitlich definierte Wählunterbrechung zwischen
Amtskennziffer und Telefonnummer,
um einen externen Anruf über eine
Telefonanlage technisch zu ermöglichen.
Amtskennziffer: Vorgewählte Ziffer
(z. B. 0), um bei Telefonanlagen
einen externen Anruf (Amtsruf)
durchführen zu können. Die
Amtskennziffer ist abhängig von der
vorgeschalteten Telefonanlage.
Vorwahl (International) (00):
Ersetzt das Pluszeichen einer internationalen Vorwahl (z. B. +49) durch
die hier eingetragenen Ziffern (z. B.
0049). Dies ermöglicht eine kürzere
Schreibweise der internationalen
Telefonnummern im Telefonbuch
oder eine schnellere Direktwahl über
die Tastatur.
In den Einstellungen Flashzeit und
Wahlpause, können Sie den
technisch benötigten Wert aus vor­
definierten Listen auswählen. Bei
den Einstellungen Amtskennziffer
und Vorwahl(International) können
Sie die Änderungen direkt über die
Tastatur eingeben.

Werkseinstellung
Die Basisstation muss während des
Resets weiterhin mit Strom versorgt
bleiben, anderenfalls kann der Reset
nicht korrekt durchgeführt werden!
Beim Reset des Smart Gateway Mini
(Basisstation) wird dieses in den
Auslieferungszustand zurückgesetzt:
• die PIN wird auf 0000 zurückgesetzt;
• alle angemeldeten Mobilteile
werden abgemeldet;
• alle App-Teilnehmer werden
deaktiviert, die Anbindung über die
Siedle App für Smart Gateway Mini
ist also nicht mehr möglich;
• falls aktiviert, werden Türrufweiter­
leitung bzw. Türmatik wieder deaktiviert;
• die Netzwerkeinstellungen der
Basisstation werden zurückgesetzt;
• die Benutzereinstellungen für die
browser-basierte Bedien-Oberfläche
werden zurückgesetzt.
Die Bus-Konfiguration (d. h. Inter­
com-Kontakte, Schaltfunktionen
etc.) sowie das Telefonbuch bleiben
erhalten.
Die Passwörter für die Anmeldung
am Smart Gateway Mini werden
nicht zurückgesetzt und bleiben
erhalten.

Vorgehensweise:
1Stecken Sie das Patchkabel für den
In-Home-Bus an der Basissation aus.
2Drücken Sie Taste Prog. an der
Basisstation (z. B. mit einer aufgebogenen Büroklammer oder
ähnlichem) und halten Sie diese
gedrückt, bis Sie die nachfolgenden
Handlungsschritte ausgeführt haben.
3Stecken Sie das Patchkabel für den
In-Home-Bus wieder ein.
4Wenn die LED Prog. zweimal
blinkt, lassen Sie die Taste Prog. los.
5Der Löschvorgang ist gestartet, der
Reset wird durchgeführt.
6Die LED Status an der Frontseite
der Basisstation blinkt rot als
Kennzeichen, dass der Reset läuft.
7Sobald der Reset abgeschlossen
ist, blinkt die LED Status grün.

Mobilteile – Erste Schritte
Mobilteil einschalten
Um das Mobilteil einzuschalten,
drücken Sie die Beenden-Taste (rotes
Hörersymbol) etwa 1 Sekunde lang.
Wenn es länger als 2 Minuten im
Ruhezustand ist, aktiviert das
Mobilteil selbstständig den Strom­
sparmodus.
Das Display erlischt.
Ein ausgeschaltetes Mobilteil schaltet
sich selbst ein, sobald es in die Lade­
schale gestellt wird.
Das Display beendet automatisch
nach ca. 1 Sekunde den Strom­
sparmodus, sobald Sie es aus der
Ladeschale nehmen.
Mobilteil an der Basisstation
anmelden
Im Set ist das Mobilteil bereits
angemeldet: das linke Symbol
zeigt in der oberen Statuszeile
des Displays die Verbindungs­
qualität an.
Sollte dies einmal nicht der Fall
sein, wird im Display die Meldung
Suchen… angezeigt. Sie müssen
das Mobilteil an der Basisstation
anmelden.
Das im Set standardmäßig mitgelieferte Mobilteil ist als Mobilteil 1
bezeichnet. Weitere Mobilteile
werden in der Reihenfolge der
Anmeldung durchnummeriert
(Mobilteil 2, Mobilteil 3…)
Um ein weiteres Mobilteil anzumelden, haben Sie folgende
Möglichkeiten:
1Anmelden durch Ausschalten, 5
Sekunden warten und Einschalten
der Basisstation.
2Anmelden mit einem bereits angemeldeten Mobilteil (Anmeldemodus
einschalten).
3Anmelden über die browserbasierte Bedien-Oberfläche der
Basisstation (Anmeldemodus einschalten).

Vom Startbildschirm aus können Sie
über die Navigieren-Tasten die einzelnen Untermenüs öffnen.
• Mit der Navigieren-Taste oben
öffnen Sie das Menü Türrufbilder.

öffnen Sie das Hauptmenü.
• Mit der Navigieren-Taste unten

Alle Mobilteile, die an der Basis­
station angemeldet wurden,
müssen über die browserbasierte Bedien-Oberfläche
der Basisstation abgemeldet
werden, um nicht mehr als interne
Teilnehmer angezeigt zu werden.
Wird ein angemeldetes Mobilteil
ausgeschaltet, defekt, oder aus dem
Empfangsbereich der Basisstation/
DECT-Repeater entnommen, wird es
weiterhin als interner Teilnehmer
angezeigt, auch wenn es nicht
mehr erreichbar ist.
Sprache einstellen
Im Menü Sprache wählen Sie die
Menüsprache aus.
Zur Auswahl stehen 10 Sprachen:
Englisch, Deutsch, Spanisch,
Französisch, Dänisch, Italienisch,

Siedle App für Smart Gateway Mini
Allgemeines
Die neue Basisstation von Scope ist
zugleich ein IP-Gateway. Ein LANAnschluss stellt die Verbindung in
das IP-Netzwerk her. Im lokalen
WLAN werden die Signale der Tür­
kommunikation an die Siedle App
für Smart Gateway Mini weitergeleitet.
Bevor Sie die Siedle App für Smart
Gateway Mini im Türkommunika­
tionssystem nutzen können, müssen
die Programmierung (z. B. durch
eine Elektro-Fachkraft) sowie die
Inbetriebnahme der Basisstation
S 851‑… bzw. des Smart Gateway
Mini SGM 650‑… abgeschlossen
sein.
Die Anmeldedaten für die App
werden bei der Inbetriebnahme
der Scope Basisstation bzw. des
IP‑Gateways festgelegt.
Sicherheitshinweise
Das Scope-Mobilteil ist – wie ein
Hausschlüssel – sorgfältig und diebstahlsicher aufzubewahren, da sich
damit auch von außen Ihre Haustüre
öffnen lässt.
Tragen Sie Sorge dafür, dass es nicht
in unbefugte Hände gelangt!
Die Siedle App für Smart Gateway
Mini kann von jedem beliebigen
Standort als Türöffner verwendet
werden! Bewahren Sie Smartphones/
Tablets, auf denen die Siedle App
aktiviert ist, diebstahlsicher auf.
Schützen Sie diese Geräte mit einem
Code/Kennwort vor unbefugter
Verwendung. Verwenden Sie immer
die aktuellsten Schutzmechanismen
die auf Ihrem Mobiltelefon zur
Verfügung stehen.
Die App kann unter Umständen
vorübergehend im WLAN nicht
erreichbar sein. Sie empfängt dann
keine Türrufe mehr, im ungünstigsten Fall für mehrere Minuten.

Funktionen
Die Siedle App für Smart Gateway
Mini macht das iPhone oder iPad
zur mobilen Erweiterung einer
In-Home-Türsprechanlage von Siedle.
Die App wurde speziell für die
Anforderungen der Türkommuni­
kation entwickelt. Ihre Funktionen
entsprechen denen einer SiedleInnenstation. Sie empfängt den
Türruf, stellt ein Live-Videobild dar,
baut eine Sprechverbindung auf
und öffnet die Tür. Natürlich mit
eingebauter Sicherheit und allem
Komfort, etwa einem Bildspeicher.
Das Videobild steht sofort zur
Verfügung. Die Sprachqualität
erfüllt die hohen Anforderungen
von Siedle, und die Tür wird mit
einem Fingertipp auf das gewohnte
Schlüsselsymbol geöffnet.
Die Siedle App für Smart Gateway
Mini ist die mobile Ergänzung einer
Türsprechanlage und ersetzt kein
Innengerät. Aus diesem Grund empfiehlt Siedle, neben der App immer
auch eine kabelgebundene SystemInnenstation einzuplanen.
Für den Betrieb dieser Siedle App
ist Siedle Scope oder das Smart
Gateway Mini in Verbindung mit
dem Installationssystem In-Home-Bus

Bevor Sie die Siedle App für Smart
Gateway Mini an der Basisstation
anmelden können, müssen Sie
diese auf dem iPhone oder iPad
installiert und mindestens einen
App-Teilnehmer in der Basisstation
angelegt haben. Aufgrund der
unterschiedlichen Bildschirmformate
unterscheidet sich die Darstellung
der Menü-Oberflächen von iPhone.
Für die Verwendung der Siedle-App
für In-Home benötigen Sie einen
WLAN-Router mit eingeschaltetem
WLAN. Bitte beachten Sie die
Hinweise des Router-Herstellers für
den sicheren Betrieb des WLANs
(Höchster Verschlüsselungsstandard
mit mindestens WPA2(AES /
CCMP), unsichtbarer WLANName/SSID, langes und sicheres
Netzwerkpasswort). Sperren Sie, im
Router, den Internetzugang für die
Basisstation!
Vorgehensweise:
1Installieren Sie die Siedle App
für Smart Gateway Mini auf dem
entsprechende Gerät (iPhone bzw.
iPad), falls noch nicht geschehen.
2Verbinden Sie das iPhone/iPad
mit dem WLAN des WLAN-Routers.
3Starten Sie die Siedle App für
Smart Gateway Mini auf dem
iPhone/iPad. Der Anmeldedialog
(Login) wird angezeigt.
4Geben Sie die Anmeldedaten
ein, um die Siedle App für Smart
Gateway Mini an der Basisstation
anzumelden:
• IP-Adresse des Gateways:
IP-Adresse der Basisstation im
Netzwerk (z. B. 192.168.1.20) –
nicht die IP-Adresse für den
Internetzugang im WLAN-Router.
• Benutzername: Nicht veränderbarer Benutzername für jeden AppTeilnehmer in der Basisstation
(app_1 bis app_4).
• Kennwort: 10-stelliges Kennwort
für einen angelegten AppTeilnehmer in der Basisstation.
• Die Anmeldedaten
(Benutzername, Kennwort und
IP-Adresse des Gateways) in der
App, müssen mit den Eingaben
zu den App-Teilnehmern in der
Basisstation übereinstimmen, da
ansonsten keine Verbindung zur
Basisstation möglich ist.
5Vergeben Sie für jedes iPhone/
iPad einen eigenen App-Teil­
nehmer mit unterschiedlichem
Kennwort.
6Geben Sie die Anmeldedaten
an keine fremden Personen
weiter!
7Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit
Anmelden. Dies ist erst möglich
wenn alle 3 Eingabefelder mit
Anmeldedaten befüllt wurden.
Abhängig von den Einstellungen
des iPhones/iPads, folgt noch eine
Sicherheitsabfrage des Betriebs­
systems.
8Bestätigen Sie die Sicherheits­
abfrage des Betriebssystems mit
OK.
9Das iPhone/iPad verbindet sich
mit der Basisstation. Konnte die
Verbindung zur Basisstation hergestellt werden, öffnet sich der
App-Startbildschirm (Homescreen)
mit der Funktionsübersicht. Die
App ist betriebsbereit. Erscheint
eine Fehlermeldung, müssen Sie die
angezeigten Probleme (WLAN nicht
erreichbar, falsche Anmeldedaten
eingegeben) lösen und den
Anmeldevorgang wiederholen.

zu werden. Wird ein iPhone/
iPad mit angemeldeter App ausgeschaltet, defekt, oder aus dem
Empfangsbereich des WLAN-Routers
entnommen, oder die App deinstalliert, wird der angelegte AppTeilnehmer weiterhin als interner
Teilnehmer angezeigt, auch wenn
dieser nicht mehr erreichbar ist.

Automatische Bildspeicherung
Für die Videoübertragung ist eine
WLAN-Verbindung mit ausreichender
Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit zur
Basisstation notwendig.
Von jeder Person, die an der VideoSprechanlage einen Türruf absetzt
(klingelt), wird automatisch ein Bild
gespeichert.
Jeder Türruf wird im Menü Türruf­
bilder in einer Türrufliste mit Datum
und Uhrzeit dokumentiert. Jedem
Türruf ist ein Bild zugeordnet, das im
Menü Türrufbilder zu einem späteren
Zeitpunkt angezeigt und für andere
Zwecke weiterverwendet werden
kann.
Rechtliche Hinweise
Aufnahmen von Personen, die
unwissentlich fotografiert wurden,
dürfen nicht veröffentlicht oder
auf öffentlich zugänglichen
Bildspeichern abgelegt werden.
Personen die unwissentlich fotografiert wurden, haben einen
Löschungsanspruch auf der
Grundlage des Rechts am eigenen
Bild. Speichern Sie keine Bilder von
fremden Personen auf sozialen
Netzwerken oder versenden diese
per Email an andere/öffentliche
Personengruppen. Sie verletzten
damit die Persönlichkeitsrechte
dieser Personen.
Sollten gespeicherte Bilder für
privat-/strafrechtliche oder polizeiliche Ermittlungen verwendet
werden, klären Sie dies vorher
mit einem Rechtsanwalt oder der
zuständigen Polizeidienststelle ab.

Damit Sie die Türsprechanlage
nutzen können, müssen im

Grundfunktionen „Türruf“, „Tür

Siedle Scope unites the worlds of
audiovisual door communication
and landline telephony, providing a
video indoor station and cordless
landline telephone in one.
Which means: Wherever you
happen to be - in the kitchen, in
the bathroom, the garden or the
basement, Scope will bring you a
live picture of who is at the door. At
the same time, Siedle Scope is a fully
functional landline telephone with
excellent speech quality and a whole
range of convenience features.
Scope is characterized by a colour
display and convenient handsfree
function. Meaningful symbols and
a clearly arranged menu structure
permit simple, intuitive operation.
The mobile video intercom
Scope offers all the functions of a
video indoor station:
• Different ring tones can be set for
- Public network calls
- Door calls
- Storey calls
- Internal calls
• Selection of different ring tones
• Integrated audio and video privacy

• Several functions can be programmed, e.g. establishing internal

The cordless landline telephone
Used as a landline telephone, Scope
offers:
• High range and excellent speech
quality thanks to DECT standard:
- up to 300 m across open country
- up to 50 m in the building
• Eco mode with reduced transmission output
• Long battery life
• Phonebook, call lists and many
other telephone functions
• Operation possible with and
without telephone system.
You can also register the DECT
handset of another make at the
Siedle Scope base station, provided
it is compatible with the GAP
standard (GAP-capable terminal).
However, only basic functions at
the Siedle Scope (such as telephone
calls, accepting audio door calls etc.)
are possible, not the full functional
capability of Siedle Scope (e.g.
accepting video door calls, central
address book management etc.).
Manufacturer-specific functions of a
GAP-capable terminal (e.g. listening
to mailbox messages) are not possible at all or only conditionally.
App link
Scope S 851-… allows the Siedle
app for In-Home to be connected to
iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).
Administration by means of
software
No laborious operation at the telephone keypad. Browser-based, platform-independent software makes
the basic functions simple and convenient to manage.

The Smart Gateway Mini SGM 650-0
corresponds to the base station
S 851-0. For operation of the
SGM 650-0, the Siedle App for
Smart Gateway Mini is required. By
extending the SGM 650-0 to include
a cordless handset SZM 851-0,

S 851-0.

Explain the content of the safety
instructions and dangers inherent in
using technically complex products
to children and those requiring

understandable.
In the event of a power cut, no
emergency calls can be made.
In the event of a power cut, Siedle
Scope is not operational.
Electrical voltage
Mounting, installation and servicing
work on electrical devices may only
be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician.
Use not in accordance with the
intended purpose can result in injury.
• Never throw the devices or allow
them to drop.
• Do not use the devices if they
are faulty, for example if the device
housing has been damaged (sharp
edges or exposed parts)!
• Never hold the cordless handset
with its back against your ear when
you are using the handsfree function
or if the cordless handset rings. This
can result in serious damage to your
hearing.
Battery safety
Medical devices/facilities
• Please note the following remarks,
otherwise explosions, electric shocks
or battery leakage can occur. This
can result in fires, serious physical
injury or damage to the environment.
• Keep the battery away from
sources of heat and naked flames.
• Never expose the battery to high
pressure.
• Never immerse the battery in
water, salt water, other fluids or substances of any other type.
• Avoid dropping the battery and
protect it from jolting and impacts
which could damage the housing.
Otherwise there is a risk of explosion
or battery leakage, which could
result in fire, injury or damage to the
surroundings.
• Only charge the battery in the
cordless handset using the provided
original charging cradle and the
original power supply unit.
• The charging cradle and the
power supply unit were developed
exclusively for use with the Siedle
Scope cordless handset. Do not
use with other products or storage
batteries. A risk of overheating and
deformation exists which could
cause fires or initiate electric shocks.
• Dispose of the battery responsibly.
Cover over contacts using adhesive
strips or other insulating material.
Direct contact with other metal
objects can result in fire and explosions.
• If a battery leaks and the emerging
substances come into contact with
the eyes, mouth, skin or clothing,
rinse the affected area immediately
using water and consult a doctor.
• Never dismantle or modify the
battery.
• If you use personal medical devices
such as pacemakers, check their
compatibility with high-frequency
electromagnetic radiation in the
DECT range.
• When using in conjunction with
a hearing aid, it is possible for humming or feedback noises to occur.
In case of problems, contact your
hearing aid service.
Important installation instructions
• This product and its components
are not suitable for use in wet
rooms, and are not approved for use
in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Do not use the charging cradle and
power supply unit in bathrooms or
shower rooms.
• Install the base station in a dry and
dust-free location away from direct
sunlight.
• Place the base station and cordless
handset at least 1 metre away from
other electrical devices.
• Ensure that it is placed far enough
away from sources of interference
such as microwave or electrical appliances with large metal housings.

Remarks
• Use only the original Siedle
rechargeable battery in the cordless
handset.
• Modern furniture is coated
with an enormous variety of different lacquer and plastic finishes.
Constituents of these materials can
result in softening of the plastic feet
in table-top devices and so impair
the surface of the furniture. Please
appreciate that the manufacturer is
unable to accept any liability.
• Keep all documentation supplied
with Siedle Scope in a safe place.
Check regularly in the download
area of the Siedle website for possible updates. Only hand over Siedle
Scope to third parties with complete
and up-to-date documentation.
• A defective base station, cordless handset or charging cradle
with power supply unit should
be removed so that it cannot be
accessed by users. Decommission
defective devices. Replace defective
devices or arrange for their repair
immediately.
Protect your property!
• Lock front doors or apartment
doors during the daytime if there is
nobody home. Unlocked doors allow
thieves/burglars to gain easy access
to your property.
• The Scope cordless handset must
be kept with the same care and
security awareness as a house key,
as it can also open your front door
from the outside.
• Ensure that it does not fall into
unauthorized hands!
• The Siedle app for Smart Gateway
Mini can be used from any location
as a door release. Keep smartphones/tablets on which the
Siedle app is activated safe from
theft. Protect these devices against
unauthorized usage with a code /
password. Always use the latest
protection mechanisms available for
your mobile phone.

• Photographs of individuals taken
without their knowledge may not be
published or stored in publicly accessible video memory facilities.
• Individuals who have been photographed without their knowledge
are entitled to request that pictures
be deleted based on the right of
persons to their own likeness. Never
store pictures of persons you do
not know in social networks or
send them by email to others/public
groups. This will infringe their personal rights.
• If stored images are used as part
of private / criminal law proceedings or in a police investigation,
this requires prior clarification with
a lawyer or the responsible police
authority.
• The legally admissible operation
and installation of this device and
all its system components (hardware
and software) are the responsibility
of the user and not of the device
manufacturer.
Care instructions
• The correct care and maintenance of Siedle Scope depends on
the selected device surface finish.
Incorrect cleaning methods, aggressive cleaning agents and abrasive
detergents can damage the surface.
• Observe the latest valid detailed
care instructions which can be
obtained from the download area
at www.siedle.com and clean the
indoor device accordingly.
Contact with liquids
• In case of intensive contact with
or contamination by liquids (such as
water damage due to burst pipes,
dropping the cordless handset into
the bath), follow points 1 to 4 and
contact your service partner without
delay.
• If the base station, cordless
handset, charging cradle or power
supply unit has come into contact
with fluid, please carry out the following steps:
1In case of devices with power
supply unit: Switch off the socket
fuse and take the power supply unit
out of the socket. If applicable, contact an electrical expert in order to
check the electrical installation.
2In the case of cordless handsets:
Switch off the device immediately,
take out the battery and leave the
battery compartment open.
3Using your own judgement, position the device in a way that best
allows fluid to drain away.
4Pat the device dry using an absorbent cloth.
5Allow the device to dry out for at
least 72 hours in a warm, dry location (do not use an oven/microwave
or similar).
6Only recommission the device
when it is completely dried out and
free of contamination from the fluid.

Fulfilling commissioning
requirements
• The data from the door intercom
with Siedle Scope is transmitted
via the Siedle In-Home bus.
Programming is described in
the In-Home-Bus: Video system
manual.
• In their as-delivered status, the
devices are initially unprogrammed.
After initially switching on the bus
video line rectifier, each of the connected devices in the line is assigned
its own unique address.
• Once installation is complete, a
mutual “teach-in” process between
all the devices must be performed to
ensure that functions are correctly
executed (e.g. the bus telephone
rings as soon as the call button is
pressed).
• Using bus programming software
BPS 650-… from V2.10 the entire
function of an In-Home system can
be programmed using a Windows
PC. For connection of the PC to
the In-Home installation, the pro­
gramming interface PRI 602-… USB
and the bus power supply accessory ZBVG 650-… are required.
The ZBVG 650-… is plugged once
within a system and once in a BNG/
BVNG 650-… The PRI 602-… USB
can be permanently installed in a
system or can be plugged in via an
8-pin Western junction box. The
software BPS 650-… is provided
together with the PRI 602-… USB.

Installation, commissioning and
programming are described in the
system manual (enclosed with line
rectifiers BNG/BVNG 650-... ).
• Using the full functional capability
of Siedle Scope, Smart Gateway
Mini and the Siedle app for Smart
Gateway Mini within the intercom
requires programming with the programming software.
• If manual or Plug+Play programming is carried out, only selected
functions can be programmed.
• Detailed information is available
in the In-Home-Bus: Video system
manual in the chapter Programming
> Overview of functions.
Conditions:
• The door intercom system has
been correctly installed/assembled as
described in the In-Home-Bus: Video
system manual, and has been prepared with a programming interface
for programming using a PC/laptop.
• The position of all devices has
been documented.
• All required button assignments/
functions for the individual devices
have been documented.
• A PC/laptop with installed BPS
programming software version from
2.10 or later is available for commissioning.
• The scope of delivery S 851-0/
SGM 650-0/SZM 851-0 is available.
• Network information is available.
• The person commissioning the
system has a basic grounding in network technology.

Providing the system documentation
The better your system documentation, the easier it will be to keep
an overview – both during commissioning and initial set-up and also in
case of any future modifications and
extensions.
The system documentation should
contain the following minimum
points for commissioning:
• Type, functions and position of all
devices in the building
• Designation of devices
• Required button assignment/
switching functions at the different
devices
• Designation of switching functions
If you wish to assign names to the
devices and switching functions,
these can be stored in the system
during programming.
If no names are stipulated, the technical names of the relevant devices
are displayed in the user interfaces
of the programming software and
the Siedle Scope cordless handset
(e.g. BTSV 850-… instead of children‘s bedroom).

Charging the cordless handset
Use only the original Siedle rechargeable battery in the cordless handset.
The charging and operating times
depend on the degree of usage of
Siedle Scope and on the capacity
and age of the battery.
Charging times:
• Recommended initial charge: at
least 3 hours
• Minimum charge prior to commissioning: at least 30 minutes
• Standard charge: at least 3 hours
Operating times:
• Standby operation:
appr. 100 hours
• Talk time: appr. 5 hours
The cordless handset is delivered
with a storage battery already
inserted. Siedle recommends first
charging the cordless handset for
around 3 hours.
The battery is pre-charged in the
as-delivered status. The battery may
become discharged during storage
and transport. The cordless handset
must be fully charged before first
use (see the “battery charge status“
display symbol).

There are 2 buttons on the charging
cradle:
• Left-hand button with mouth

Both keys only work if the cordless handset is located in the
charging cradle. Otherwise the
two buttons have no function.

Assembling and connecting the
base station
• The base station should be
installed as centrally as possible
in the building, in order to ensure
optimum wireless transmission. The
location for installing the charging
cradle can be optionally selected,
but for the sake of convenience this
should also be centrally positioned.
4 junction boxes are required for
operation of the base station:
• 230 V socket for the power supply
of the base station
• TAE telecom socket for external
telephony (6f coded)
• 8-pin RJ45 socket for the in-home
bus: Video
• 8-pin RJ45 socket for network
(LAN) connection on a wireless
router
If you wish to integrate Siedle
Scope/Smart Gateway Mini into
the In-Home-Bus with Plug+Play
programming, the base station
must not yet be connected to the
In-Home bus at this point in time.
If you wish to integrate the Siedle
Scope/Smart Gateway Mini
subsequently into an already programmed intercom, then manual
programming or programming
with PC is more suitable.

To allow you to use the door
intercom, the basic functions “Door
call“, “Open door“ and “Select
door“ must be programmed in the
In-Home bus as a minimum requirement.
The data from the door intercom
with Siedle Scope is transmitted
via the Siedle In-Home bus.
Programming is described in
the In-Home-Bus: Video system
manual.
In addition to the basic functions,
you can program additional functions using the programming software BPS 650-… . For connecting
the PC to the In-Home bus: Video,
a programming interface
PRI 602-… USB and a ZBVG 650-…
plug-in card are required.
The configuration performed must
be saved using the BPS 650-… in
the form of an XML file and then
transmitted to the base station.
Information on importing the configuration into the base station is
provided on/from page 93.

Important remarks prior to programming
• The entire installation must have
been completed. When programming using the Plug+Play method,
the housing of the bus indoor
devices must not yet be closed. The
Siedle Scope base station must not
be connected to the In-Home bus.
• Before starting programming, all
buttons should be inscribed to allow
them to be assigned to the relevant
bus indoor devices.
• It is only ever possible to activate
one door loudspeaker in the programming mode.
• If an already programmed call
button is pressed for longer than
3 seconds in the programming mode
at the activated door loudspeaker,
after one second a warningtone is
sounded, and after 3 seconds the
confirmation tone. After this, the
call button is deleted if there was no
bus indoor device active. However,
if there is a bus indoor device active
at this moment, the button is overwritten with the new address.
• All BNG/BVNG 650-… units must
be connected to mains voltage of
230 V AC.
• In multiple line systems with several BNG/BVNG 650-… units, actuating the Prog. mode button at one
BNG/BVNG 650-… switches all other
connected BNG/BVNG 650-… units
to the programming mode.
• In multiple line systems, at each
BNG/BVNG 650-… a different
address must be set. The number

Programming – Plug+Play
Plug+Play programming offers the
opportunity for those without programming experience to commission
an In-Home bus system. The entire
installation of all users must have
been completed. The housings of
the bus telephones must not yet
have been closed. The Plug+Play
mode must be activated at the bus
line rectifier. By being connected
to the bus door loudspeaker, the
call buttons at the bus call button
module are assigned a consecutive
number. The bus telephones are
subsequently locked onto the base
plates in this sequence.

on the PC/laptop so that this does
not have to be exported again at

11Click on Write when the configuration has been carried out and
saved. A confirmation dialogue

is active. If there is no internet connection available for commissioning,
carry out a system update at a later
date.
Procedure:

The base station can automatically
synchronize the date and time via
the network router if a network connection exists. Alternatively, you can
set the date and time manually.
The base station requires a correct
date and time to allow, for instance,
the door release to also be triggered via the Siedle app for Smart
Gateway Mini, and all door images
taken to be assigned the correct
date and time at which the image
was taken.

Telephony settings
If the base station/Smart Gateway
Mini is connected to a telephone
system, you may have to carry out
different settings in the base station/
Smart Gateway Mini in order to
enable smooth operation at the telephone system.
The following settings can be
changed in the Telephony menu:
Flash time (300 ms): Precisely timed
line interruption in an existing call
when initiating the flash to allow a
telephony function to be accessed
(e.g. to confer)
Dialling pause (0 ms): Precisely
timed dialling interruption between
the external line digit and the telephone number which is technically
required to allow an external call via
a telephone system.
External line digit: Pre-dialled
number (e.g. 0), in order to allow an
external call (public network call) to
be carried out in telephone systems.
The external line digit is dependent
on the upstream telephone system.
Dialling code (International) (00):
Replaces the plus symbol in front of
an international dialling code (e.g.
+49) by the numbers entered here
(e.g. 0049). This permits shorter
notation for international telephone
numbers in the phonebook or faster
direct dial using the keypad.
In the flash time and dialling
pause settings, you can select the
technically required value from
pre-defined lists. Under the external
line digit and dialling code (international) settings, you can carry out
changes directly via the keypad.
Please note that incorrect settings
in the Telephony menu can result in
your not being able to make any
external phone calls! If the base
station is directly linked to the landline connection, no settings need to
be carried out here.

Factory setting
The base station must remain energized during the reset, otherwise a
correct reset cannot be performed.
When resetting the Smart Gateway
Mini (base station) this returns to the
as-delivered status:
• The PIN is reset to 0000;
• All registered cordless handsets are
deregistered;
• All app users are deactivated, connection via the Siedle app for Smart
gateway Mini is no longer possible;
• If activated, the door call rerouting
/ Doormatic function are deactivated
again;
• The network settings of the base
station are reset;
• The user settings for the browser-based user interface are reset.
The bus configuration (i.e. intercom
contacts, switching functions etc.)
and the phonebook are retained.
The passwords for login at the
Smart Gateway Mini are not reset
and are retained.

Switching on the cordless
handset
To switch on the cordless handset,
press the end call button
(red receiver symbol) for around
1 second.
If it remains in the idle status for
longer than 2 minutes, the cordless
handset will activate the power
saving mode automatically.
The display goes out.
A hibernating handset switches back
on automatically as soon as it is
placed in the charging cradle.
The display terminates the power
saving mode automatically after
around 1 second as soon as it is
removed from the charging cradle.
Registering the cordless handset
at the base station
The cordless handset is already
registered in the set: The lefthand symbol indicates the
strength of the connection in the
status bar at the top.
If this should not occur, the message
Search… will be displayed. You
need to register the cordless handset
at the base station.
The cordless handset supplied as
standard in the set is designated
cordless handset 1. Other cordless
handsets are numbered through in
the order in which they are registered (cordless handset 2, cordless
handset 3, and so on)
To register an additional cordless
handset, you have the following
possibilities:

for 5 seconds and switching on the
base station.

Deregister handset
All cordless handsets which are
registered at the base station must
be deregistered via the browser-based user interface of the
base station so that they are no
longer displayed as internal users.
If a registered cordless handset is
switched off, defective or has been
removed out of the range of the
base station/DECT repeater, it is still
shown as an internal user even if
it can no longer be reached.
Setting the language
Select the menu language in the
Language menu.
There are 10 languages to choose
from: English, German, Spanish,
French, Danish, Italian, Dutch,
Norwegian, Polish and Swedish.

Siedle app for Smart Gateway Mini
General
The new Scope base station simultaneously forms an IP gateway. A
LAN terminal establishes the link to
the IP network. In the local wifi, the
door communication signals are forwarded to the Siedle app for Smart
Gateway Mini.
Before you can use the Siedle app
for Smart Gateway Mini in the door
communication system, you must
have completed the programming
(e.g. with the help of an electrical
expert) and also commissioning
of the base station S 851‑… / the
Smart Gateway Mini SGM 650‑… .
Log-in data for the app is defined
during commissioning of the Scope
base station / the IP gateway.
Safety remarks
The Scope cordless handset must be
kept with the same care and security
awareness as a house key, as it can
also open your front door from the
outside.
Ensure that it does not fall into
unauthorized hands!
The Siedle app for Smart Gateway
Mini can be used from any location as a door release. Keep
smartphones/tablets on which the
Siedle app is activated safe from
theft. Protect these devices against
unauthorized usage with a code
/ password. Always use the latest
protection mechanisms available for
your mobile phone.
Temporary unavailability of the app
in the wifi is possible. In this case, it
no longer receives door calls. In the
most unfavourable case this can last
up to several minutes.

Siedle app for Smart Gateway Mini
Functions
The Siedle app for Smart Gateway
Mini turns the iPhone or iPad into
a mobile upgrade of an In-Home
door intercom from Siedle. The app
has been specially developed for
the requirements of door communication. Its functions correspond to
those of a Siedle indoor station. It
receives the door call, provides a live
video image, establishes a speech
connection and opens the door.
Naturally with all the benefits of
built-in security and every convenience, for instance a video memory.
The video image is immediately
available. The speech quality fulfils
Siedle’s stringent standards, and
the door is opened by pressing the
familiar key symbol with a fingertip.
The Siedle app for Smart Gateway
Mini is the mobile complement to a
door intercom system and does not
replace an indoor device. For this
reason, Siedle recommends including
a wired indoor station in your system
planning alongside the app.
For operation of this Siedle app,
Siedle Scope or the Smart Gateway
Mini is required in connection with
the In-Home bus installation system.

Registering app users
Before you can register the Siedle
app for Smart Gateway Mini at the
base station, you must have installed
it on the iPhone or iPad and you
must have created at least one app
user in the base station. Due to the
different screen formats, the display
of the menu user interface differs
from the iPhone. When using the
Siedle app for In-Home, you require
a WiFi router with activated WiFi.
Please note the information provided
by the router manufacturer for
secure operation of the WiFi (highest
encryption standard with at least
WPA2(AES / CCMP), invisible WiFi
name/SSID, long and secure network password). In the router, lock
internet access for the base station.
Procedure:
1Install the Siedle app for Smart
Gateway Mini on the device
(iPhone or iPad) if this has not
already been done.
2Connect the iPhone/iPad to the
WiFi network at the WiFi router.
3Start the Siedle app for Smart
Gateway Mini on the iPhone/iPad.
The login dialogue is displayed.
4Enter the registration data in
order to register the Siedle app for
Smart Gateway Mini at the base
station:
• IP address of the gateway: IP
address of the base station in the
network (e.g. 192.168.1.20) – not
the IP address for internet access in
the WiFi router.
• User: Unchangeable user name
for each app user in the base station
(app_1 to app_4).
• Password: 10-digit password for
an app user registered in the base
station.
• The registration data (user
name, password and IP address of
the gateway) in the app must agree
with the inputs in the app users at
the base station, as otherwise no
connection is possible to the base
station.
5Assign a dedicated app user
with a different password for each
iPhone/iPad.
6Never pass on the registration
data to third parties!
7Confirm the entry with Log in.
This is only possible when all 3 input
fields have been completed with
registration data. Depending on
the settings of the iPhone/iPad, the
operating system then displays a further confirmation prompt.
8Answer the confirmation
prompt from the operating system
with OK.
9The iPhone/iPad connects to the
base station. If the connection
to the base station is successfully
established, the app start screen
(home screen) opens with the overview of functions. The app is ready
for operation. If an error message
appears, the displayed problem
(WiFi not available, wrong login data
entered) must be solved and the
login process repeated.

app from this device. Never hand
over an iPhone/iPad with an operable app to a third person!
Delete the affected app user from
the base station. This ensures that
the affected app user no longer has
access to the door intercom.
In case of emergency:
• Pull the network cable out of
the LAN connection of the base
station
or
• Deactivate the WLAN of the
WLAN router
• Block any existing external
access to the LAN network.
All app users which are registered at
the base station must be deleted via
the browser-based user interface of
the base station so that they are no
longer displayed as internal users. If
an iPhone/iPad with registered app
is switched off, defective or removed
from the reception range of the WiFi
router, or if the app is uninstalled,
the created app user is still displayed
as an internal user, even if it can no
longer be reached.
Automatic video memory storage
A WiFi connection with adequate
transmission speed to the base station is required.
A picture of each person who makes
a door call (rings) at the video
intercom is automatically stored.
Each door call is documented in the
Door call images menu in a door call
log with date and time. A picture
is assigned to each door call. This
is later displayed in the Door call
images menu and can additionally
be used for other purposes.
Legal notes
Photographs of individuals taken
without their knowledge may not be
published or stored in publicly accessible video memory facilities.
Individuals who have been photographed without their knowledge
are entitled to request that pictures
be deleted based on the right of
persons to their own likeness. Never
store pictures of persons you do
not know in social networks or
send them by email to others/public
groups. This will infringe their personal rights.
If stored images are used as part of
private / criminal law proceedings or
in a police investigation, this requires
prior clarification with a lawyer or
the responsible police authority.
The legally admissible operation and
installation of this device and all its
system components (hardware and
software) are the responsibility of
the user and not of the device manufacturer.
