Using a 3/4” open head wrench, remove the quick disconnect assembly. 3) Using a snap ring pliers, remove the retaining ring, them remove the engine from the frame. 6) To remove the hex driver, take a vise grip and clamp down on the clutch drum. Apply Loctite 609 retaining compound to the sleeve. Make sure the hole in the sleeve is aligning with the hole in the housing, then press into place. 8) After the new quick disconnect sleeve has been pressed in, the speed increaser housing should look like the picture above. 9) Disassemble the old quick disconnect assembly. Disregard the pigeon piece (piece circled) and keep the rest. Apply the new pigeon into the quick disconnect assembly. 10) Insert the new quick disconnect adapter. Reattach the throttle cable to the throttle lever.
