INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
RISER PLATFORM WITH TRIM KIT
Models:
IRP9 (9 Inch Riser) IRP11 (11 Inch Riser)
I-TEC UNIT PREPARATION
1. Remove packaging material.
2. Remove shipping brackets and lift unit off from wooden skid per the I-TEC Installation Instructions.
3. Remove cabinet doors and sides.
RISER PLATFORM ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
1. Place riser base on floor with rails facing down (see Figure 1). Front of riser base identified by "FT". If there is
adequate clearance to work on the sides of the unit, position the riser platform in its final installation location. If
not, place it in a convenient place to work and then move into position later.
2. Install one side bracket to each rear corner of the riser base using two (2) sheet metal screws supplied with kit
(see Figure 2).

3. Lift the I-TEC unit and place it on the riser base centering the locating extrusions on top of each other (as
shown in Figure 2 on page 1).
4. Install connector plates to the right and left sides of the I-TEC unit and riser base using 5/16 x 1 self-tapping
bolts (P/N 1012-090) supplied with kit (see Figure 3). Use four (4) bolts per side to attach the connector plates.
NOTE: If a forklift or other lifting device is required to move the unit into the installed position, do so now before proceeding.
5. Install right and left side trim pieces using four (4) sheet metal screws supplied with kit (see Figure 4). Hook
the lip of the side bracket into the slot in the rear of the side trim piece and use two (2) screws to attach the
front of the side trim piece to the front of the riser base.

6. Install front trim piece using two (2) screws supplied with I-TEC unit (see Figure 5). Loosen screws part way,
slide front trim piece behind screws and tighten screws.

7. Install I-TEC cabinet sides and doors. Kit installation is now complete.
