Spring Handle Mounting Bracket Replacement WARNING: BE SURE TO READ YOUR OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE ASSEMBLING OR OPERATING YOUR GRILL.
ALWAYS FOLLOW ALL CODES.
Be sure the unit is unplugged and cooled before performing any maintenance/component replacement.
This instruction covers both the door and ash pan handles. To replace the spring handle mounting bracket you will need a 7/16” socket AND open‐end wrench. Doors: If replacing the bracket on a door, open the door and use a 7/16” open‐end wrench to hold the nut in place. Then, using a 7/16” socket, loosen and remove the bolt (on the outside of the door) holding the bracket in place. Repeat this for the second nut and bolt. To Reinstall: Line up the holes on the grill door with the holes on the spring handle mounting bracket and reinstall in the reverse manner ‐ if installing right side bracket the bolts will be on the right hand side, if installing the left side bracket the bolts will be on the left side. Ash Pan Handle: Repeat these instructions to install a new spring handle mounting bracket on the ash pan. Outside the door (bolts)
