Rear Trick Springs
We designed these rear coil springs to provide increased weight transfer for
quicker elapsed times. They are sold in matched pairs. Each spring is identified
with a part number. The part number determines whether the spring is a left side
or a right side (see chart).
A letter “L” after the part number denotes the spring is to be used on the Left
(driver’s side of the car). While a “R” signifies the spring is for the Right
(passenger’s side of the car).
You will notice that the passenger side spring is shorter. This is because it has
higher lbs. per inch rate. The increased rate eliminates the twisting motion that
occurs on initial launch. This allows the car to launch straight and help it transfer
weight more evenly, while pushing the right rear tire into the ground for a harder
launch.
Warning: It is very important that these springs be installed on the correct
side of the car. Failure to do so may lead to loss of control of the vehicle
upon launch.
THESE SPRINGS ARE FOR DRAG RACE USE ONLY AND ARE NOT
INTENDED FOR STREET USE!
Consult your vehicle’s factory service manual for proper installation procedure.
