This document explains how to connect an ITI Quik Bridge Loop Receiver to a DSC Power 832 control panel. It
summarizes the following procedures:
• Powering the Loop Receiver. How to wire the receiver to the panel’s auxiliary power supply.
• Connecting the Zone Outputs Used by Sensors. How to wire the receiver to the panel to allow the use of wireless
sensors.
• Connecting the Zone Outputs Used for Keyswitch Arming. How to wire the receiver to the panel to allow arming
and disarming of the system using a Keychain Touchpad.
For complete instructions on programming the Loop Receiver or the Power 832, see their installation instructions.
Powering the Loop Receiver
1. Shut off or remove power from the receiver and the panel.
2. Power the receiver by connecting it to the panel’s auxiliary power supply as shown in Figure 1.

Connecting the Zone Outputs Used by Sensors
Connect the receiver’s sensor zone outputs and trouble outputs (terminals B and S), if desired, to the panel’s
inputs. For N/C (Normally Closed) configurations, see Figure 2. For N/O (Normally Open) configurations, see Figure 3. Table 1 shows the configurations (N/C or N/O) you may use for each zone on the Power 832.

Connecting the Zone Outputs Used for Keyswitch Arming
This section explains how to set up an ITI Keychain Touchpad to allow keyswitch arming of a Power 832 system.
A Keychain Touchpad configured this way will arm the system using the Arm button and disarm the system using
the Disarm button. See Table 2 for a summary of compatibility between Loop Receiver outputs and Power
832 inputs.
Table 2. Zone 2 of the Loop Receiver will work with any Power 832 zone input programmed for
maintained switching and wired to be N/O.

To connect the Loop Receiver for keyswitch arming:
1. Learn the Arm button on the desired Keychain Touchpad into zone 2 of the receiver.
2. Connect the button’s zone output (terminal 2) to any one of the panel’s zones that you have programmed for
maintained keyswitching as shown in Figure 4.
