for women with dense breast tissue
When used in addition
to mammography,
Invenia ABUS can
improve breast
cancer detection by
35.7 percent over
mammography alone.1
A different way to look at dense breast tissue – the Invenia* ABUS (Automated Breast
Ultrasound System) is a comfortable, non-ionizing alternative to other supplemental
screening options for women with dense breast tissue. It is indicated as an addition to
mammography for breast cancer screening in asymptomatic women for whom screening
mammography findings are normal or benign,
who have dense breast parenchyma and have
not had previous clinical breast intervention.
GE Healthcare is the sole provider
of FDA-approved automated breast
