Mississauga A.R.E.S. Net Preamble
Calling the Mississauga ARES net, calling the Mississauga ARES Net. This is (Call Sign),
my name is (Name), Net Control for this session.
This is a RAC ARES Net dedicated to public service, traffic handling, and training for
emergencies. This net is called every Sunday evening at 8:15 PM on the VE3MIS
repeater with a frequency of 145.430 MHz -600 and a tone of 103.5.
This is a directed net . . . Please do not transmit unless asked to do so by net control.
At anytime, stations with Emergency or Priority traffic should wait until there is a break
in conversation then identify with your callsign followed by the word TRAFFIC, for
example, VE3NI TRAFFIC, and we will stand by to assist you with your immediate
problem.
Re-checks will be taken by call sign only
