Important safety information!
If the product does not operate normally when the operating instructions are
followed, then refer the product to a qualified service engineer.
According to OSHA, any exposure in excess of the above permissible limits could
result in some hearing loss.
Ear plug protectors in the ear canals or over the ears must be worn when operating
this amplification system in order to prevent a permanent hearing loss if exposure is
in excess of the limits as set forth above. To ensure against potentially dangerous
exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is recommended that all persons
exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels such as
this amplification system be protected by hearing protectors while this unit is in
operation.
Use only the supplied power cord which is compatible with the mains voltage supply
in your area.
Power supply cords should always be handled carefully and should be replaced if
damaged in any way.
Never break off the earth (ground) pin on the power supply cord.
The power supply cord should be unplugged when the unit is to be unused for long
periods of time.
Before the unit is switched on, the loudspeaker should be connected as described
in the handbook using the lead recommended by the manufacturer.
Always replace damaged fuses with the correct rating and type.
Never disconnect the protective mains earth connection.
High loudspeaker levels can cause permanent hearing damage. You should
therefore avoid the direct vicinity of loudspeakers operating at high levels. Wear
hearing protection if continuously exposed to high levels.

the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed by
the government or the local authorities.

The HT-5TH is the ultimate studio and practice amp, packing all the great tone
and innovative features of the award-winning HT valve pedals into a two channel,
footswitchable valve amp format. The patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit
gives you infinite adjustment over the characteristics of the tone control network
and takes you from the USA to the UK and anywhere in between. So now you
can effectively design your own tone and finally find ‘the sound in your head’. In
making the HT-5TH ideally suited to home and studio use, the aim was to develop
a valve amp which sounded full and toneful even at the lowest volume level. With
this in mind the Blackstar design team designed a brand new valve power amplifier
topology. The HT-5TH power amplifier is a low powered push-pull design which
produces the crunch and break-up characteristics of a traditional 100W output
stage but at a much lower volume. This is achieved by the use of a 12BH7 dual
triode in push-pull configuration producing 5 Watts output, which is rich in valve
harmonics and compression.

on the award winning HT-5R, this limited edition 2x10 combo is packed with all the
same patented features, but has a unique cosmetic-cream covering, anniversary
weave fret cloth and custom front panel. With just 2500 units worldwide this really
is a special edition product and a piece of Blackstar history.

The HT-5TH also has a fully specified stereo speaker emulated output which further
enhances the studio credentials and allows any guitarist to get amazing valve
tone straight to tape or disk, or through headphones. It also features the unique
4x12/1x12 voicing switch allowing you to change the tonal characteristics of the
emulated signal between two emulated cabinet types.
The stereo speaker emulated output can be used at the same time as the internal
speaker/extension cab, providing headphone free monitoring or the choice to blend
a mic’d speaker and emulated signal together for unrivalled usability when recording
at home or in the studio. In addition the speaker output can be turned off for ‘silent’
practice or recording.
Add to this an effects loop with switchable level, 16Ω and 8Ω speaker outputs
which allow you to run the amp into an external speaker cabinet of your choice, a
stereo MP3/Line in allowing you to jam along to your favourite tracks and you have
everything you need for recording or practising.

Front Panel

Plug your guitar in here. Always use a good quality screened guitar lead.
2. Clean Volume
This controls the volume of the Clean Channel. Turning it clockwise increases
the volume.
3. Clean Tone
The Tone control allows adjustment of the balance between treble and bass
frequencies within the sound. At low settings (counter clockwise) the sound will be
warmer and darker in character. As the Tone control is rotated clockwise the sound
will become brighter.
11. ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)
The ISF control works in conjunction with the Bass, Middle and Treble controls. It
allows you to choose the exact tonal signature you prefer. Fully CCW has a more
American characteristic with a tight bottom end and more aggressive middle, and
fully CW has a British characteristic which is more ‘woody’ and less aggressive.
12. Reverb (HT-5R and HT-5RH only)
Press this switch to select the Overdrive Channel.
The Reverb control sets the overall level of the reverb effect. With the control fully
counter clockwise there will be no reverb. Turning the control clockwise will increase
the amount of reverb. The HT-5R features digital stereo reverb as found on the HT
Venue Series and HT-1R adding a rich depth to any playing style.

When the red LED is on the Overdrive Channel is selected. When the LED is off the
Clean Channel is in operation.
The power indicator will light when the amplifier is switched on.
6. Overdrive Gain
This switch enables the operation of the power amp stage and speaker output.
Always turn this on at least 30 seconds after the Power switch (15). For silent
recording or practise this switch should be put in the standby position. This will
disable the power stage, but the emulated output will continue to work.
The Gain control adjusts the amount of the Overdrive Channel’s overdrive or
distortion. Low settings, counter clockwise (CCW), will deliver a clean sound on
the edge of break-up. As the Gain control is increased clockwise (CW) the sound
will become more overdriven moving through crunch tones until, at its maximum
position, a full distorted lead tone is arrived at.

This switch is used to turn the amplifier on and off. You should always turn this
switch on before turning on the Standby switch (14).
This controls the volume of the Overdrive Channel. Turning it clockwise increases
the volume.

8. Bass (OD Channel)
1. Mains Input
The Bass control adjusts the amount of low end frequencies in your tone. This amp
has an advanced tone shaping circuit which allows the tone to be tight and cutting,
(CCW), to warm and thumping (CW).
9. Middle (OD Channel)
The Middle control adjusts the amount of middle frequencies in your tone. The
middle frequencies are particularly important in setting the amount of ‘body’ your
tone has. With the Middle control set to its minimum position (fully CCW) the sound
will be aggressive and scooped, a tone ideal for aggressive rhythm playing. As the
Middle control is increased (CW) the amount of ‘body’ is increased, which is more
suitable for sustained lead guitar tones.

The Treble control allows exact adjustment of the treble frequencies within the
sound. At low settings (CCW) the sound will be warm and darker in character. As the
Treble control is increased (CW) the sound will become brighter. At the maximum
settings the sound will be aggressive and cutting.

The supplied detachable mains lead is connected here. The lead should only
be connected to a power outlet that is compatible with the voltage, power and
frequency requirements stated on the rear panel. If in doubt get advice from a
qualified technician.

The output marked ‘1x16 Ohm’ is for the connection of a single 16 Ohm external
speaker cabinet. The outputs marked ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’ are for the connection

8. Effects Loop Level
The Effect Loop Level switch sets the effects loop to either +4dBV/-10dBV, which
enables you to use it with either professional equipment (+4dBV setting), or with
guitar level effects such as effects pedals (-10dBV setting).

9. MP3/Line Input

of either a single 8 Ohm extension cabinet, the internal loud speakers of the HT-5TH
combo or two 16 Ohm cabinets. The internal loudspeaker of the HT-5TH combo
should not be used together with anextension cabinet. See table below.
WARNING: The output marked ‘1x16 Ohm’ should never be used at the same time
as either of the outputs marked ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’.
3. Speaker Emulated Output & Headphones
This output emulates the tonal characteristics of a guitar speaker cabinet and
provides a natural valve overdrive tone for connection to a recording device or mixing
desk, and for use with headphones. To make full use of the stereo reverb, use a
stereo jack to two mono jacks splitter lead to feed two channels of the recording
device or mixer (see diagram below). The output will also function into a mono guitar
type lead. Always use a good quality screened lead.

4. Cabinet Switch
The switch enables you to select either a 4x12 closed back or a 1x12 open back
cabinet emulation for the Speaker Emulated Output.
5. Footswitch
The supplied footswitch is connected here. The footswitch enables you to switch
between the Clean and Overdrive channels. The Overdrive Select Switch (4) on the
amplifier must be depressed to allow the footswitch to work.

Hohe Lautsprecherpegel können permanente Hörschäden verursachen. Sie sollten
daher die direkte Nähe zu Lautsprechern, die auf hohen Pegeln betrieben werden,
vermeiden. Tragen Sie einen Hörschutz, wenn Sie kontinuierlich hohen Pegeln
ausgesetzt sind.
Laut der OSHA kann jede Belastung oberhalb der oben genannten zulässigen
Grenzwerte zu gewissen Hörverlusten führen.
Wenn dieses Verstärkersystem betrieben wird, müssen Ohrschützer im Ohrkanal
oder über den Ohren getragen werden, um permanenten Hörverlust zu vermeiden,
wenn die Belastung oberhalb der oben festgelegten Grenzwerte liegt. Um sich
gegen potenziell gefährliche Belastungen durch hohe Schalldruckpegel zu schützen,
wird empfohlen, dass alle Personen, die Geräten wie diesem Verstärkersystem

Einleitung
Der HT-5TH verfügt auch über einen voluminösen, Lautsprecher-emulierten
Ausgang, der die Anwendungsqualität im Studio steigert und jedem Gitarristen
perfekten Valve-Sound direkt auf Band, Platte oder über Kopfhörer liefert. Er bietet
auch die einzigartige 4x12/1x12 Voicing Switch, die den Wechsel der Klangmerkmale
zwischen zwei emulierten Lautsprechertypen ermöglicht.
Der emulierte Stereoausgang des Lautsprechers kann gleichzeitig mit der internen
Lautsprecher/ Erweiterungscab verwendet werden, was bei Aufnahmen zuhause
oder im Studio ein Monitoring ohne Kopfhörer oder das Kombinieren von MikroLautsprecher und emuliertem Tonsignal möglich macht. Alternativ kann der
Lautsprecherausgang auch für 'silent' Practice oder Recording ausgeschaltet
werden.
Dazu kommt noch ein Effektloop mit 16Ω- und 8Ω-Lautsprecherausgängen mit
umschaltbaren Ebenen, die es Ihnen ermöglichen, den Verstärker an eine externe
Lautsprecheranlage Ihrer Wahl anzuschließen, und ein stereo Mp3/Line-In, mit der
Sie bei Ihren Lieblingstracks mitspielen können. Damit haben Sie alles, was Sie für
Aufnahmen und Proben benötigen.

Hier schließen Sie Ihre Gitarre an. Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall hochwertige
geschirmte Gitarrenkabel.
Mit diesem Regler steuern Sie die Lautstärke im Clean-Kanal. Im Uhrzeigersinn
heben Sie die Lautstärke an.
3. Clean Tone
Der Tone-Regler dient zur Balance der Höhen-und Bassanteile im Sound. Bei
niedrigen Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) erhält der Sound einen wärmeren
und dumpferen Charakter. Wenn Sie den Treble-Regler im Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen,
wird der Sound immer höhenreicher.
4. Overdrive Select
Mit diesem Schalter aktivieren Sie den Overdrive-Kanal.
5. Overdrive-Anzeige
Wenn die ROTE LED leuchtet, ist der Overdrive-Kanal angewählt. Wenn die LED
nicht leuchtet, ist der Clean-Kanal aktiv.
11. ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)
Der ISF-Regler arbeitet mit den Reglern für Bass, Middle und Treble zusammen. Mit
seiner Hilfe finden Sie die genau die Klangfärbung, die Sie suchen. Bei Einstellungen
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn besitzt der Amp einen “amerikanischen” Sound-Charakter
mit einem straffen Bassfundament und aggressiveren Mitten. Bei Einstellungen im
Uhrzeigersinn erzeugt der Amp einen “britischen” Sound, der deutlich erdiger und
weniger aggressiv klingt.
12. Reverb (HT-5R and HT-5RH only)
Mit dem Reverb-Regler wird die Gesamtlautstärke des Reverb-Effekts ausgesteuert.
Im Linksanschlag des Reglers ist kein Reverb hörbar. Wenn der Regler im
Uhrzeigersinn aufgedreht wird, nimmt der Reverb-Anteil zu. Wie die HT-Venue-Serie
und der HT-1 verfügt auch der HT-5R über ein digitales Stereo-Reverb, das dem
Sound Tiefe verleiht.

6. Overdrive Gain
Die Power-Kontrollleuchte ist aktiv, wenn Sie den Verstärker einschalten.
Mit dem Gain-Regler steuern Sie den Verzerrungsgrad im Overdrive-Kanal. Niedrige
Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) liefern einen cleanen Sound mit viel
Druck und Durchsetzungsvermögen. Wenn der Gain-Regler aufgedreht wird (im
Uhrzeigersinn), nimmt der Verzerrungsgrad mehr und mehr zu und wechselt von
crunchigen Sounds bis hin zu stark verzerrten Lead-Sounds in der Extremposition.
14. Standby
7. Overdrive Volume
Mit diesem Regler steuern Sie die Lautstärke im Overdrive-Kanal. Im Uhrzeigersinn
heben Sie die Lautstärke an.
8. Bass (OD-Kanal)
Der Bass-Regler steuert den Anteil der Bassfrequenzen im Gesamt-Sound. Dieser
Verstärker bietet eine umfangreiche Klangregelung, mit der Sie den Ton zwischen
knackig und aggressiv oder warm und druckvoll (im Uhrzeigersinn) einstellen können.
9. Middle (OD-Kanal)
Der Mitten-Regler steuert den Anteil der Mittenfrequenzen im Gesamt-Sound. Die
Mitten sind insbesondere für den Grundsound entscheidend. In der Minimalposition
(komplett gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) ist der Sound sehr aggressiv und hohl, was sich
speziell für knackige Rhythmus-Parts eignet. Wenn der Mitten-Regler angehoben
wird (im Uhrzeigersinn), nimmt der Grundton-Anteil zu, was sich für singende LeadGitarren-Sounds empfiehlt.

Mit dem Regler Treble können Sie gezielt den Höhenanteil im Gesamt-Sound
einstellen. Bei niedrigen Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) erhält der Sound
einen wärmeren und dunkleren Charakter. Wenn der Treble-Regler angehoben wird
(im Uhrzeigersinn), wird der Sound immer höhenreicher. In der Maximalposition
klingt der Sound schließlich aggressiv und schneidend.

Dieser Schalter aktiviert die Endstufe und damit die Ausgabe über den internen
Lautsprecherausgang. Schalten Sie diesen Schalter frühestens 30 Sekunden nach
dem Power-Schalter (15) ein. Für Aufnahmen oder das Üben ohne Sound stellen Sie
diesen Schalter in die Standby-Position. Dadurch wird die Endstufe deaktiviert und
der Sound nur noch über den emulierten Ausgang ausgegeben.

Mit diesem Schalter schalten Sie den Verstärker ein bzw. aus. Aktivieren Sie diesen
Schalter in jedem Fall VOR dem Standby-Schalter (14).

1. Netzanschluss
Hier wird das mitgelieferte Kaltgerätenetzkabel angeschlossen. Das Kabel muss
an einer Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden, die in punkto Spannung, Leistung
und Netzfrequenz den auf der Rückseite vermerkten Spezifikationen entspricht. Im
Zweifelsfall wenden Sie sich an einen qualifizierten Techniker/Elektriker.

6. Effects Loop Send
Der mit ‘1x16 Ohm’ gekennzeichnete Ausgang ist für den Anschluss eines
externen 16 Ohm-Einzellautsprechers vorgesehen. Die mit ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm'
gekennzeichneten Ausgänge sind entweder für den Anschluss eines externen 8
Ohm-Einzelautsprechers, der intenen Lautsprecher der HT-5TH-Kombination oder
zweier externer 16 Ohm-Lautsprechern vorgesehen. Der interne Lautsprecher der
HT-5TH-Kombination sollte nicht zusammen mit einem externen Lautsprecher
verwendet werden. Siehe Tabelle unten.

3. Speaker Emulated Output & Headphones
Dieser Ausgang emuliert den Klangcharakter einer Gitarren-Lautsprecherbox
und sorgt in Kombination mit einem Aufnahmegerät, einem Mischpult oder im
Kopfhörerbetrieb für eine natürliche Röhren-Übersteuerung. Verwenden Sie in
jedem Fall hochwertige geschirmte Gitarrenkabel. Um das Stereo-Reverb zu nutzen,
schließen Sie ein Split-Kabel mit einem Stereoklinkenstecker an, der das Signal
auf zwei Monostecker verteilt, um zwei Kanäle Ihres Aufnahmegeräts oder eines
Mixers anzusteuern (siehe Abbildung unten). Der Ausgang kann aber auch mit
einem einfachen Monokabel abgegriffen werden. Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall ein
hochwertiges geschirmtes Kabel.

8. Effects Loop Level
Mit dem Schalter Effect Loop Level können Sie den Effekt-Loop wahlweise mit

4. Cabinet-Schalter

Merci d'avoir acheté ce combo Blackstar 5e anniversaire HT-5TH. Basé sur
la technologie primée du HT-5R, cette édition limitée 2x10 dispose des mêmes
caractéristiques brevetées, mais avec une cosmétique unique - revêtement crème,
toile de baffle et panneau avant personnalisés façon «anniversaire». Avec seulement
2500 unités à travers le monde, c'est une véritable édition spéciale et un morceau
de l'histoire Blackstar.
Le HT-5TH est l’ ampli de studio et de répétition ultime, tous les sons de grande
qualité et les fonctionnalités innovantes des pédales à lampe de la série HT sont
toutes réunies dans deux canaux contrôlables également au pied. Le système
breveté ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) est un contrôle interactif vous permet d'ajuster
finement la réponse des réglages de tonalité entre les 2 voicings "traditionnels"
USA et UK et tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux. Alors maintenant, vous pouvez
effectivement concevoir votre propre tonalité et enfin réaliser «le son qui dans votre
tête». En réalisant le HT-5TH, idéal pour la maison et l'utilisation en studio, le but était
de développer un ampli à lampes qui sonnait plein avec du grain même au volume le
plus bas. Avec cela à l'esprit, l'équipe de conception Blackstar a conçu une nouvelle
topologie d’amplificateur à tube. Le HT-5TH est de conception « push-pull» de faible
puissance qui tord et produit le fameux «crunch» plus rapidement qu'un étage de
sortie 100 Watts traditionnel, mais à un volume beaucoup plus faible. Ce résultat
est obtenu par l'utilisation d'une triode 12BH7 double configuration push-pull,
produisant 5 Watts de sortie, qui est riche en harmoniques ainsi qu’en compression.

11. ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)
1. Entrée Hi
Branchez votre guitare ici.
Le contrôle ISF fonctionne en conjunction sur le Basses, Medium et Aigues. Il
vous permet de choisir la signature sonore qui vous convient le mieux. Des sons
américains à gauche aux sons anglais à droite.
2. Clean Volume
12. Reverb (HT-5R and HT-5RH only)
Ce bouton contrôle le Volume du canal Clean. Tournez le dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre afin d’augmenter le volume.
Le contrôle de « Reverb » determine le niveu de l’effet associé au signal direct. Au
début de la course du potentiomètre, il n’y a pas d’effet. Au fur et à mesure que
l’on tourne celui-ci dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, cela augmente le niveau
d’effet et ce jusqu’à son maximum. Le HT-5R dispose de la même Réverbération
numérique stéréo embarquée que les modèles de la série HT VENUE et HT-1R, qui
apporte profondeur et espace dans tous les styles.
3. Clean Tone
Le contrôle de tonalité permet d’ajuster le caractère du son avec un balayage entre
fréquences graves et aigues. Si le potentiomètre est réglé sur la première partie de
sa course, le son est plus épais et chaleureux, au fur et à mesure que l’on tourne
celui-ci dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, le son devient plus clair et détaillé.
Pressez ce bouton pour sélectionner le canal Overdrive.
5. Overdrive Indicator
Quand la diode est rouge le canal Overdrive est sélectionné. Quand la diode est
éteinte le canal clair est activé.
6. Overdrive Gain
Le Bouton Gain vous permet d’ajuster le niveau d’overdrive ou de distorsion du
canal. Réglé complètement à gauche, vous obtiendrez un son clean hors du
commun. Lorsque vous tournerez le bouton dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre
le son deviendra crunch puis distordu.
14. Standby
Ce switch applique la haute tension requise pour fournir le son. Veuillez toujours
tourner ce switch 30 secondes après le Power Switch.
Lors de brèves pauses, utilisez ce switch pour ‘éteindre’ et ‘allumer’ votre ampli.
15. Power
Ce switch vou permet d’allumer ou éteindre votre ampli. Veillez à activer ce switch
avant d’activer le switch Stand By.

7. Overdrive Volume
1. Entrée Secteur
Ce bouton contrôle le volume du Canal Overdrive. Le tourner dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre augmente le volume.
L’alimentation secteur doit être branchée ici. Elle doit être connectée à une source
compatible en voltage, puissance et fréquence définies sur le panneau arrière. En
cas de doute, veuillez faire appel à un technicien qualifié.
8. Bass (OD Channel)
Le bouton Bass vous permet d’ajuster le niveau de fréquences basses dans votre
son. Cet ampli intègre un circuit de réglages des basses avancé vous permettant
de manière précise.
9. Middle (OD Channel)
Le bouton Medium vous permet de régler le niveau de frequencies Medium dans
votre son, dessinant ainsi le corps de votre son. Auche votre son sera agressif, idéal
pour une séquence rythmique. Réglé plus à droite, le niveau augmentera et le son
deviendra optimal pour des séquences ‘lead’.
10. Treble (OD Channel)
Le Bouton Treble (aigu) vous permet à son tour, de régler les frequences aigues.
A un niveau faible le son sera chaud et sombre, au fur et à mesure que vous
l’augmenter le son deviendra de plus en plus brillant. A son maximum, les sonorités
seront tranchantes et agressives.

Características
Gracias por comprar este amplificador Blackstar HT-5TH. Basado en el galardonado
HT-5R, este combo 2x10 de edición limitada 5º Aniversario está equipado con las
mismas características, pero con una estética única - forrado en color crema,
frontal de tela de aniversario y panel frontal personalizado. Con sólo 2500 unidades
en todo el mundo, este es un amplificador realmente especial y una pieza de la
historia de Blackstar.
El HT-5TH es el amplificador para práctica y estudio definitive y viene equipado con
todo el tono y características innovativas de los galardonados pedales a válvulas
HT, en un formato de amplificador a válvulas de dos canales conmutables. El
circuito patentado ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) te proporciona infinitos ajustes sobre
las características de la red de control de tono llevándote desde USA hasta UK y
cualquier lugar entre ellos. Así que ahora puedes diseñar tu propio tono de manera
efectiva para así conseguir ‘el sonido en tu cabeza’. Al hacer el HT-5TH apropiado
para casa y estudio, la meta fue desarrollar un amplificador a válvulas con un sonido
lleno y con un gran tono incluso a volúmen bajo. Con esto en mente, el equipo de
diseño de Blackstar ha creado una nueva tipología de amplificadores a válvulas. La
pequeña etapa de potencia del HT-5TH está basada en un diseño push-pull que
reproduce el crunch y la saturación de las tradicionales etapas de 100W pero a un
volúmen mucho más bajo. Esto se consigue gracias al uso de la 12BH7, un doble
triodo en configuración Push-Pull, que produce 5 Watios de potencia de salida rica
en compresión y harmónicos.

La salida estéreo emulada se puede usar en conjunto con el altavoz interno o una
pantalla externa, proporcionando un perfecto monitor o dando la opción de mezclar
un altavoz y la salida emulada simultáneamente para obtener una versatilidad sin

El HT-5TH también tiene una salida estéreo emulada que completa las características
de estudio y permite a cualquier guitarrista conseguir un fantástico tono cuando se
conecta directo a una mesa de mezclas o cascos. También incorpora un interruptor
4x12/1x12 que te permite cambiar las características de tono de la señal entre dos
tipos de pantallas.
Añade a esto un bucle de efectos con nivel commutable, salidas de altavoz de 16Ω
y 8Ω que te permiten usar el amplificador con una pantalla de tu elección, y una

Panel frontal
1. Input
Enchufa tu guitarra aquí. Usa siempre un cable apantallado de calidad.
2. Clean Volume
Controla el volumen del canal limpio. Girándolo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj
aumenta el volumen.
3. Clean Tone
El control de tono permite ajustar la respuesta de agudos y graves en el sonido.
En ajustes bajos (sentido anti-horario) el sonido tendrá un carácter más cálido y
oscuro. A medida que se incrementa el ajuste en sentido horario el sonido se volverá
más brillante.
4. Selector de Overdrive
Aprieta este botón para seleccionar el canal Overdrive.
11. ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)
El control USF trabaja en conjunción con los de TREBLE, MIDDLE y BASS. Permite
elegir exactamente la firma tonal que prefieras. Totalmente cerrado (sentido
contrahorario) tiene un carácter más americano con graves apretados y medios
más agresivos. Totalmente abierto (sentido horario) tiene una carácter británico que
suena más a madera y menos agresivo.
12. Reverb (HT-5R and HT-5RH only)
El control de “Reverb” ajusta el nivel total de efecto de reverberación. Con el mando
al mínimo (completamente girado en sentido anti-horario) no habrá reverberación.
Al incrementar el ajuste (sentido horario) aumenta la cantidad de efecto. El HT-5R
incorpora reverb estéreo digital como la que se puede encontrar en los HT Venue y
el HT-1, añadiendo un nuevo matiz a cada forma de tocar.
Cuando el LED rojo está encendido, el canal saturado (Overdrive) ha sido
seleccionado. Cuando el LED está apagado, el canal limpio (Clean) está
en funcionamiento.

Se ilumina cuando el amplificador está conectado.
El control GAIN ajusta la cantidad de distorsión o saturación del canal Overdrive.
Ajustes bajos, en sentido contrahorario, proporcionan sonido limpio justo a punto
de romper. A medida que el control GAIN aumenta, sentido horario, el sonido se
vuelve más saturado moviendose a través de tonos crujientes hasta, en su máxima
posición, un tono de distorsión llena adecuado para solos.
Este interruptor habilita el funcionamiento de la etapa potencia y de la salida de
altavoz. Enciéndelo siempre al menos 30 segundos después del interruptor
“Power” (15). Para una grabación silenciosa o para practicar este interruptor debe
estar en la posición de “Standby”. Esto desactivará la etapa de potencia, pero
la salida simulada seguirá funcionando.
7. Overdrive Volume

Controla el volumen del canal Overdrive. Girándolo en sentido horario aumenta
el volumen.
Se utiliza este interruptor para conectar/desconectar el amplificador. SIEMPRE se
debe conectar este interruptor ANTES QUE el de STANDBY (14).
8. Bass (OD Channel)

El control BASS ajusta la cantidad de frecuencias bajas en tu sonido. Este ampli
tiene un circuito de modelado de tono avanzado que permite que suene apretado
y cortante girando en sentido contrahorario, caliente y arrollador girando el control
en sentido horario.
9. Middle (OD Channel)
El control MIDDLE ajusta la cantidad de frecuencias medias en tu sonido. Las
frecuencias medias son particularmente importantes para ajustar la cantidad de
“cuerpo” que va a tener tu sonido. Con el control MIDDLE en su ajuste mínimo
(sentido contrahorario) el sonido será agresivo y “scooped” (ecualización en V)
un sonido ideal para rítmicas agresivas. Girando el control MIDDLE en sentido
horario, la cantidad de “cuerpo” aumenta, lo cual resulta más adecuado para solos
con mayor “sustain”.

El control TREBLE permite ajustar exactamente las frecuencias agudas del sonido.
En ajustes bajos (sentido contrahorario) el sonido será caliente y de carácter oscuro.
Si se aumenta el control TREBLE (girando en sentido horario) el sonido se vuelve
más brillante. En ajustes máximos el sonido será agresivo y cortante.

El cable de alimentación incluido se conecta aquí. El cable solamente debe
conectarse en una toma de alimentación compatible con los requisitos de voltaje,
potencia y frecuencia representados en el panel trasero del amplificaor. En caso de
duda pide consejo a un técnico cualificado.
2. Salidas de Altavoz
La salida marcada como ‘1x16 Ohm’ se usa para la conexión de una sóla pantalla
de 16 ohmios. Las salidas marcadas ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’ se usan para la
conexión de una sóla pantalla de 8 ohmios, los altavoces internos del HT-5TH o dos
pantallas externas de 16 ohmios. Los altavoces internos del HT-5TH no se deben
usar junto a una pantalla externa. Ver tabla abajo.

3. Salida de auriculares y Simulación de Altavoz
Esta salida simula las características tonales de una pantalla de guitarra y
proporciona un sonido de saturación natural de válvula para conectar a un aparato
de grabación o una mesa de mezclas y para usar con auriculares. Usa siempre
un cable apantallado de calidad. Para aprovechar al máximo la reverberación del
estéreo, usa un cable con divisor con un jack estéreo en un extremo y dos jack
mono en el otro para abastecer dos canales de grabación o mezcla (ver diagrama
inferior). La salida también funcionará con un cable mono para guitarra. Utiliza
siempre cables blindados de buena calidad.
