Connect ASCII devices to your DeviceNet Master
The 460DSA moves data between a DeviceNet Master a Serial ASCII device. It’s the
perfect tool to get simple ASCII devices like barcode scanners, weight scales, markers
and printers connect to a DeviceNet controller.
Its also a great to help you link legacy PC based systems into a DeviceNet controller. Full
bi-directional data commination is supported.
How Does it Work?
Up to 240 bytes of DeviceNet data can be mapped to and from your DeviceNet Master
device. The data segments can be converted to ASCII and concatenated into a string that
is delivered to the ASCII device. If you need to send data to the DeviceNet Master an
incoming ASCII string can be parsed and each segment can be directed to user defined
IO data location.
Need to scale your data or manipulate it with other math functions? The 460DSA allows
you to add scaling to any data, apply simple math operations, add alarming and control
the request speeds of your Master device.

Gateway Security
You can configure up to 9 different users access to
diagnostic and configuration screens.
Set <, <=, >=, >, ==, !=, and change-of-state rules on
any data moving through the gateway. If alarm rule is
triggered an email notification can be sent.
Translation Table
Allows for data manipulation during protocol translation. Scaling and other data format changes can occur
in the gateway.
