Marzocchi Z5 FlyLight fork User manual

The Z5 FlyLight is a high-performance air/oil damped fork with a multi-valve system. It features a special Bomber Aerospace Material (BAM) aluminum alloy crown, stanchions of hard-chromated chrome-molybdenum steel, and full-length guide bushings for superior rigidity. Parts subjected to friction are cooled and lubricated by a specially formulated oil. Air pressure is regulated by a top-mounted Schrader valve, allowing you to fine-tune the compression damping to suit your weight and riding style.

Frequently asked questions

To change the pressure value, remove the protection cap and depressurize each leg. Fully tighten the pump connection on the valve and pressurize until the required value is reached. Unscrew the connection and refit the cap. This adjustment is essential for optimal response based on your weight and riding style.

Specially formulated oil is used to eliminate foaming and viscosity breakdown while providing complete stiction-free performance. The fork leg uses 110 cc of type EBH 16 - SAE 7.5 oil.

It is recommended to check and clean the area below the dust seal and the stanchion tube after each use and lubricate it with silicone oil. Regular servicing will ensure optimal performance and longevity.
