Assembly/installation:
•The DALI SQM must not be connected to the
mains. It is supplied directly via the DALI signal
line.
•The function switch is connected directly to the
DALI SQM (potential free contact) and must not
be connected to the mains.
•DALI signals are not SELV. Therefore the same
procedures should be applied as working with
mains voltage. This is also valid to the function
switch and the cord.

Function:
The DALI SQM constantly sends DALI signals with
the set “step time”. These are broadcast-addressed
scene calls. DALI scenes 0 to 15 can be called up.
The end scene, after which scene 0 is called up
again, can be programmed and set to DALI scene
7 on delivery. This means that a sequence of eight
scenes is called up.

The “Step Times” rotary switch is used to set the step time. There is a choice
of eight time (1 s, 3 s, 10 s, 30 s, 1 min., 3 min., 10 min. and 30 min.). The
step time is the time for which a particular scene is active before the next
scene is activated. Factory setting: 1 second

The end scene must be accessed by pressing
the switch briefly. Pressing the switch for more
than 5 seconds stores this as the end scene.
The saving of the final scenes is indicated by fast
stepping through all the scenes used, followed by
an OFF signal.

The sequencer module is active
Setting the fade time
Based on the normal DALI specification, the changes from one scene to the
next in a sequence would be extremely abrupt. The colours for the individual
scenes would come on instantly (within 0.7 s). To ensure that the transition
is smooth and gentle you can change the fade time in the ballasts. The time
during which the colour is changing can be set between 0.7 s and 90.5 s
with the aid of configTOOL software and a DALI USB (article no. 24138923).

Pressing the switch briefly calls up the previous scene.
Reset ↓
Holding down the switch (for about 5 seconds) calls the broadcast
command “OFF”.
