NRG4Q SERIES ADDENDUM DAUGHTER CARD UPDATE The daughter card on NRG4Q Series controls has been updated. Please refer to the information in this addendum for new features and updated instructions. INHIBIT PERSONALITY (JMP501) This header determines how the drive responds when the INHIBIT termianls (SO501) are jumpered. Jumper pins 1 and 2 for coasting to a stop. Jumper pins 2 and 3 to brake to a stop Jumper pins 1 & 2 to run in Normally Open Mode (NO Mode). In NO Mode, the drive will be inhibited when the terminals are closed. Jumper pins 2 & 3 to run in Normally Closed Mode (NC Mode). In NC Mode, the drive will be inhibited when the terminals are opened. PIN 1 - Output Current (-3.33 VDC @ 100% drive rating A1-A2) PIN 2 - Common (logic ground) PIN 3 - Output Voltage (+3.94 VDC @ +100 VDC output A1-A2) The outputs have a DC impedance of approximately 5.6 K ohm, and a -3 db filter frequency of 280 Hz with a -10 dB/ decade roll off. (addendum to 250-0245) mvd121902 CURRENT MODE SETTINGS The NRG4Q series controls can be configured to follow a grounded (non-isolated) voltage signal. To configure the drive to follow a voltage signal (0 - 5 VDC), connect the signal leads to the T1 (+) and T2 (-) terminals on TB501, observing proper polarity. NOTE: DO NOT CONNECT A SPEED POTENTIOMETER if using current mode. Ensure that the following are properly set: JMP502 Setting Jumper pins 2 & 3 Tach Trimpot Adjust tach trimpot to Full CCW. SW502 Setting Set switch to Tach/Cur Mode Motor Torque Trimpot Adjust motor torque trimpot to Full CCW.
