To turn the power on, press the POWER/BRILL key momentarily. To turn the power off, press and hold down the POWER/BRILL key until the screen goes off (approximately 3 seconds).

Press the DISP key to open the display selection window. Rotate the ENTER knob to choose a basic display screen, and then push it. Rotate the ENTER knob to choose a combination display, and then push the ENTER knob.

Press the GAIN key. Press the GAIN soft key. Use the cursor pad to select AUTO ROUGH, AUTO MODERATE, AUTO CALM or MAN (manual) as appropriate. For manual adjustment, rotate the ENTER knob to adjust, while observing the radar echo. Press the GAIN key or the RETURN soft key to finish.

Press the SAVE/MOB key and hold for three seconds.

Press the ALARM key. Choose ARRIVAL ALARM. Press the EDIT soft key to open the arrival alarm window. Use the cursor pad to choose ON. Enter the alarm range, and then press the ENTER soft key or ENTER knob to register the setting. Press the ALARM key to finish.
