Installation of the DD13 Exhaust Flanged Manifold
Install as follows:
1. Position the HC fuel doser housing (2) aside.
2. Install the exhaust flanged manifold (5) with new nuts (1) and mounting gasket with tab positioned upwards to the
turbocharger. Torque to 42 N·m (31 lb·ft).
3. Install the directional spherical clamp (4) on the bellows to the exhaust flanged manifold (5) and torque to OEM
specifications.
WARNING: PERSONAL INJURY
To avoid injury before starting and running the engine, ensure the vehicle is parked on a level
surface, parking brake is set, and the wheels are blocked.
WARNING: ENGINE EXHAUST
To avoid injury from inhaling engine exhaust, always operate the engine in a well-ventilated area.
Engine exhaust is toxic.
4. Install the HC fuel doser housing to the flanged exhaust manifold with a new mounting gasket and two bolts (1).
Torque the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb·ft).
5. Install the heat shields. Torque bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb·ft).
