- Remove child out of the car as first priority in an accident.
- While travelling it is recommended that any luggage or other objects liable to cause
injuries in the event of a collision shall be properly secured.
- Do not use your child seat on a vehicle seat with lap belts only.

- Please check the car seat condition if you are going to travel a long distance with a

E
D
F
D. Choose a seat suitable for fitting the car seat to. See section above.
E. Pull the seat belt straps so there is a lot of slack allowing you to wrap it around the
car seat. This will make it easier to thread through the correct mounting points
F. Fit the lap belt across the car seat first by sliding the belt under the two side
mouldings
G
G.2
G.1
H
G. Once the lap belt is secure wrap the shoulder belt around the back of the car
seat and attach it into the clip (see G.1) Make sure all the slack is taken out of
the shoulder belt (see G.2)
H. Once the seat belts are in their correct mounting points make sure the seat
belt buckle is secure and there are no twists in the belt.
NOTE: pull front to back and left to right to check for secure installation.
NOTE: vehicle MUST be on level ground and child seated when levelling.
I.1
I.2
I.1 The car seatbelt buckle must be lower than the top edge of the car seat.
I.2 If the vehicle seatbelt buckle is above the top edge of the child seat then this car
seat is not suitable for the vehicle. This is called ‘buckle crunch’. It means the seatbelt
tongue (the part that slots into the buckle) can bend over the top edge of the child
seat. This can cause the vehicle seat belt to come undone in an accident.
