Connections of motors - AUMA-motors
For DC, brake and two-speed motors, separate terminal plans are available.
ATTENTION !
Complete protection of AUMA pot-type motors is only achieved when correctly wiring the thermoswitches, embedded
in the winding (plugs/terminals 19 and 20).

Microswitches
ATTENTION !
Only the same potential can be switched on the two circuits of a microswitch. If different potentials are to be switched
simultaneously, the use of tandem switches imposes (two galvanically separate microswitches in one housing).
To ensure reliable signalisation, use the leading contacts (WSR 1/WOEL 1 or DSR 1/DOEL 1) and the lagging contacts
(WSR/WOEL or DSR/DOEL) for switching off.

Frequently Answers and Questions

How do I correctly wire thermoswitches for AUMA pot-type motors?
For complete protection of AUMA pot-type motors, ensure you correctly wire the thermoswitches, embedded in the winding (plugs/terminals 19 and 20).
What are the different types of AUMA motors that are covered in this document?
This document covers connection plans for 3-phase AC, 1-phase AC with capacitor and 1-phase AC motors.
What is the function of a microswitch and how do I use tandem switches?
Microswitches allow you to switch on two circuits simultaneously. If you need to switch different potentials simultaneously, it is recommended to use tandem switches (two galvanically separate microswitches in one housing).
