advanced security to deliver the scalability and resiliency to increase
your company’s productivity while reducing operational cost.
The ECS4610 switches provide two stacking ports for hardware
stacking, with up to 320Gbps throughput. Any combination of
ECS4610 Series units can be stacked up to 8 units high to a
maximum of 400 logical ports. The stack acts as a single logical
switching unit that is managed by a master switch, elected from one
of the member switches. The master switch automatically creates
and updates all the switching and optional routing tables. A working
logical switch can add new members or delete old ones without
service interruption, simplifying network management tasks.

PoE functionality delivers up to 7.5W or 15.4W maximum per
port, providing a robust solution for VoIP/wireless or other devices
supporting PoE IEEE 802.3af. The ES3528MFF-PoE is our first
model offering the PoE+ feature, which is an extension to the IEEE
802.3af standard that delivers up to 15.4 Watts per port. The PoE+
feature is designed to meet immediate customer needs for Power
over Ethernet in excess of 15.4W per port,enabling them to support
new technologies that require it, such as IEEE 802.11n wireless
infrastructure.

This HT (High Throughput) standard is achieved by
implementing improvements in the PHY (physical layer)
and the baseband of the radio:
The number of antennas has increased, up to 4
(maximum), and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)
has been added, allowing each of the antennas to stream
independently. This technological advance increases
the throughput rate up to 4 times that of the previous
generation.
Channel bandwidth has increased up to 40 MHz,
doubling the PHY data rate over a single 20 MHz
channel.
The number of sub-carriers per channel has increased
