Frequently asked questions

How do I adjust the chain slack?

Loosen the rear wheel axle and the check nuts of the adjustment bolts. Adjust the chain slack to 5 mm by evenly tightening or loosening the adjustment bolts on both sides. Then tighten the wheel axle and check nuts against the movable blocks.

How do I bleed the hydraulic brakes?

Use the Bleeding set (or. no. 262.900.00). Remove the brake from the minibike. Place the brake with flow-through bolts and the lever pointing upwards. Place the hoses with the reduction for the M5 thread onto the sprayers from the bleeding set. Fill one sprayer with brake fluid and screw it into the flow-through bolt on the brake caliper. Screw an empty sprayer into the flow-through bolt on the lever and gently push brake fluid from the full sprayer to the empty one. After pushing through the entire volume, unscrew the sprayer on the side of the lever and screw in the bleeder plug. Then unscrew the sprayer on the side of the caliper and screw in the bleeder plug. Clean any spilled brake fluid and mount the brake back on the minibike.

How do I adjust the centrifugal clutch?

The clutch should engage at 8000 - 8 500 RPM. Adjust it to higher revolutions for heavier riders. The basis for adjustment is the length of the spring, measured from the seating area on the clutch lever to the spring cup. For a new clutch, set this length to 21.00 mm. The grabbing RPM will increase as the clutch lining and drum wear. Continually inspect the grabbing RPM and adjust the bolts to maintain the grabbing RPM at 7000-9000 RPM.

What is the purpose of the cooling system?

The cooling system keeps the engine from overheating. Check the amount of fluid in the leveling reservoir before every ride. After 10 hours of operation, check the condition of the cog belt that drives the cooling pump.
