General
Optimally protect your system against loss of data where it matters with an uninterruptible power supply. Thanks to its wide power range of 500 VA to 1,400 VA, the
S-UPS PROTECT A offers effective and economical data protection during power
failure, dangerous power surges and voltage fluctuations.
Design and Function
S-UPS PROTECT A proves itself in critical situations with its high availability due to
a sturdy overload and excess voltage protection, as well as a wide voltage range.
Easy Handling
A clear "One-Board-Design", as well as front LEDs, clearly inform about the most
important aspects of the operating status. The easy handling is complemented by
an acoustic alarm, an automatic 50/60 Hz recognition and, last but not least, it can
be used immediately as a result of the cable set supplied.
USB and RS232 Connection for Easy Control
All functions are micro-processor controlled, permanently monitored and are available as measurements and messages – because S-UPS PROTECT A can communicate via a RS232 respectively USB connection with a PC or Mac. In connection with the special shutdown software the most important operating systems can
be automatically powered down in the case of a longer power failure.

General
The VI (line-interactive) technology of the S-UPS PROTECT B reliably protects sensitive company data against power failure, line transients, as well as HF disturbances. Large voltage fluctuations are efficiently dealt with by the configuration of
the S-UPS PROTECT B automatic voltage regulation (AVR). The output voltage in
all operational modes is in sine wave shape. Advanced battery management
charges the batteries optimally with a highly efficient charger. As a result of the wide
voltage range, the service free batteries are additionally protected. Any battery
deficit is registered immediate by the electronics.
Design and Function
Easy handling, variable set-up: All S-UPS PROTECT B can be implemented as a tower
or in connection with the 19" kit as rack-mount version, whereby each model irrespective of its power rating requires only 2 U!
The table with its clear organization of the functions of the operating elements provides simple configuration and readability. An example of this is separate indicators
for UPS load and remaining battery capacity.
Remote via PC: Important UPS data is permanently monitored and available via the
USB or RS232 interface. Web browser remote monitoring and multi-server shutdown is possible with an optional SNMP adapter.

General
Due to true online / double-conversion technology, S-UPS PROTECT C is well suited for mission-critical applications such as sensitive networks, small computer centers, Intranet and Internet servers, telecom applications, as well as for industrial
applications.
Design and Function
The S-UPS PROTECT C employs VFI topology to protect loads basically against all
public grid disturbances. On the input side, sine wave shape current consumption
is achieved for all load conditions. High integrated circuits reduce the number of
electric connections and components, as well as a robust IGBT module. Result:
less and more robust components increase reliability. An automatic bypass provides security during overload.
Maximum Control
Bar graph displays UPS load and battery capacity and the clearly organized pictogram also informs about the most important aspects of the operating status.
Important UPS data can be transmitted via RS232 interface. Web browser
remote monitoring and multi-server shutdown is possible with an optional SNMP
adapter. "CompuWatch" shutdown and reboot software is included for implementing these features.
Intelligent Functions, High Level Protection
VFI-topology (double-conversion): Protects against all mains power
disturbances.

S-UPS PROTECT C 6 and S-UPS PROTECT C 10 are also able to be switched in
parallel. The demand for greater availability by providing an active redundancy, as
well as a need for increased output power is met here. The combined power
increase, in connection with active redundancy, can be achieved by the parallel
switch ability of a maximum 3 devices.
The mains factors are meeting the highest requirements in respect of safety and
availability, as well as cost efficient implementation.

Increased Power and Reliability Through Parallel Operation
The S-UPS PROTECT 4.33 can be used in parallel operation with up to 8 units. This
increases the power capacity to 8 MVA, or allows for even greater safety via N + 1
redundancy.

General
The S-UPS PROTECT 5.31 is one of the latest generation UPS units from AEG SVS. In
online mode, it ensures a reliable supply of electrical power to all connected consumers. It is permanent, reliable and completely free from any switching operations.
Design and Function
The S-UPS PROTECT 5.31 transforms the alternating current from the mains,
charges and monitors the standby batteries and outputs alternating current to the
internal supply system via a single phase inverter current which is free from disruption or interruption. Isolating transformers in the rectifier and inverter means disruptions are eliminated.
The S-UPS PROTECT 5.31 keeps offering protection when other units have long
since given up. Its intermittent overload capacity is 500%. Furthermore, its high
level of short-circuit strength and its above average crest factor (factor 3) provide
your systems and processes with absolutely reliable protection. High cyclic loads
don’t cause any problems thanks to the excellent dynamic response.
