The BOSS CS-3 is a compression
sustainer that produces long sustain
without distorting the original sounds.
The attack volume adjusts picking
forth widely and provides any drive:

This knob changes the volume of the effect sound.
Rotating it clockwise increases the volume and
counterclockwise decreases. Therefore, this knob
can be effectively used to adjust volume balance of
the effect and direct sounds.
Tone Control

Push this pedal to turn the effect on (LED on), and
push it again to turn the effect off (LED off).
