The VTech ® Sliding Songs Bead Maze TM is a fun and innovative toy that adds an electronic twist to a traditional bead maze. This animal playground will help your baby strengthen their fine motor skills and learn about opposites, colors, and animals as they scoot the seven beads along the three tracks and play with the spinning monkey, sliding puppy, bouncing pony, and a see-saw. For added engagement, the
ABC button plays a delightful alphabet song!

Unlock the packing locks: rotate the packing locks 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

INSTRUCTIONS
BATTeRY INSTALLATIoN
1. Make sure the unit is turned oFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new ‘AA’ (AM-3/Lr6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
4. replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover.
BATTeRY NoTICe
• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (ni-Cd, ni-Mh), or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. oFF/VoLUMe CoNTRoL SWITCH
To turn the unit oN, slide the oFF/
VoLUMe CoNTRoL SWITCH to the
LoW VoLUMe ( ) position, or the
HIGH VoLUMe ( ) position. To turn the unit oFF, slide the oFF/VoLUMe
CoNTRoL SWITCH to the oFF ( ) position .
2. AUToMATIC SHUT-oFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech ® Sliding Songs Bead Maze TM will automatically power-down after approximately 60 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
ACTIVITIES
1. Slide the off/volume control switch to the low or high volume position to turn the unit on. you will hear a fun sung song and phrases. The light will flash with the sounds.
2. press the light-up ABC button to hear an alphabet song, a fun sung song and a variety of great melodies with fun monkey sounds. The light will flash with the sounds.

3. Move the three colored balls to the end of their tracks to learn their colors and hear melodies. The light will flash with the sounds.
4. press the see-saw to move the green ball up and down. The light will flash with the sounds.
5. Slide the flower and butterfly beads to the end of their tracks to hear fun sounds and encouraging phrases.
The light will flash with the sounds.
6. press the pony to hear great melodies and fun sounds. The light will flash with the sounds.

7. Slide the puppy to hear ‘Bingo.’ The light will flash with the sounds.
8. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 8 seconds, you will hear a fun sung song. If there is still no input after a further 8 seconds, you will hear the alphabet song melody, then the unit will automatically power-down.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
3. remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
1. please turn the unit oFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit sit for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit oN. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new batteries.
