ENGLISH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Never leave pets unattended. Make sure you are safe and drive carefully. Do not exceed 25kg (55lbs) maximum load. Do not exceed 10 mph (16Km/H) maximum speed. Make sure the trailer has adequate ventilation especially during hot weather. PRE-RIDE SAFETY CHECK Check the hitch clamp is secure. Check the hitch safety strap is secure. Inspect bike and trailer before each use. Remember to wear a helmet Check the pressure of your tyres. (should be between 25 and 30 PSI / 1.70 and 2.00 bar). RIDING TIPS Ride at a slower speed than you would without the trailer. Remember that you will have a longer stopping distance so apply your brakes in good time. Take corners very gradually. Use on smooth roads only. Do not ride over curbs, potholes or off road. Avoid riding at night. MAIN FRAME AND SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY Remove trailer and all components from box. While trailer is still in folded position, lift both side tubes to an upright position. Insert the safety pin into the hole on the crossbar to set up the side panels. (Refer to diagram) NOTE: Ensure that the safety pin is secured with the wrap spring clip. INSTALLING WHEELS Place the wheel hub on the axle by pushing in the wheel until it snaps in place and cannot be removed. Push in all the way so that the wheel cannot be pushed further (see diagram). After both wheels are attached tug on the wheels to ensure they are secure and cannot be removed. To remove the wheels, lift back of trailer up and simply press on the push buttons located on the axle and remove the wheels (see diagram). NOTE: Check tyre walls to ensure they are correctly inflated and check tyres regularly. WARNING Failure to install wheels correctly could cause a wheel to come off during use. This could lead to serious injury. HITCH ARM ASSEMBLY Tip the front of trailer and rest carefully on the back. Remove the fixing pin from rear of the hitch arm bar and fold the bar out until it is parallel with the base frame. Lock it into place by reinserting the fixing pin into the hole at the front of the bar. Ensure the pin is secured with the wrap spring clip IMPORTANT Please make sure the fixing pin is properly installed before using the trailer. PUTTING YOUR PET INTO THE TRAILER Open the zip on the front of the trailer and guide your dog in. Close the zip and Velcro tabs. . Open the top flap and strap your pet with the included buckle strap to the cross strut. See photo. HOW TO ATTACHE THE TRAILER TO REAR AXLE OF BIKE Loosen the axle screw on the rear wheel of your bike, put the connector on the axle and secure by tightening the axle screws of the bicycle. Now put the safety strap onto a strong bar on your bike and attach it to the D-ring on the trailer arm. Caution: Make sure that both the trailer is attached with the pin as well as the safety strap. CAUTION If the hitch interferes with your bike or does not tighten securely, do not use. Contact your bike dealer for help with proper installation.
