Housing DISASSEMBLING (1) Remove Base section for disassembling Housing. See Fig. 2. Fig. 2 1. Inserting Slotted head screwdriver into the cut portion, remove Lever 8 by levering up it with the screwdriver. < Note in Disassembling > Be careful not to lose Compression spring 4 and Steel ball 4 in this step. And then, remove M4x12 Hex socket head bolt with which Housing cover is secured to Housing set with the same Wrench. P 4/ 12 Repair [3] DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [3]-1. Housing DISASSEMBLING (2) Housing set (R) is separated from the Machine. Fig. 3 See Fig. 3. 6. Now Housing set (R) can be separated from Housing set (L), by unscrewing ten 4x18 Tapping screws. 4x18 Tapping screws ( 10 ocs. ) Housing set (R) Housing set (L) (3) After the above step, the inner parts (Carbon brush, Field, Armature, Gear complete, Slider, Rod, etc.) can be replaced. ASSEMBLING Take the reverse step of Disassembling. Refer to Fig. 3, Fig. 2. [3]-2. Crank Mechanism DISASSEMBLING (1) Remove Housing set (R). See Fig. 2, Fig. 3. (2) Disassemble Slider section as illustrated in Fig. 4. Fig. 4 1. Remove Leaf spring. And then, take off Slider guide. 2. Turning Armature, move Crank pin of Gear complete to the highest point from the edge of Housing set (L), as illustrated below. So, Slider section can be removed easily. 3. Disassemble Slider section, by separating it from Sleeve 7. Slider section Crank pin with Sleeve 7 Leaf spring Slider guide Sleeve 7 P 5/ 12 Repair [3] DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [3]-2. Crank Mechanism DISASSEMBLING (3) Crank section and Armature are separated from the Housing set (L). See Fig. 5. Fig. 5 4. Disconnect Carbon brush from Commutator. 5. Remove Armature and Crank section at a time. Armature Crank section (4) Disassemble crank section as illustrated in Fig. 6. Fig. 6 6. Remove Flat washer 10, Sleeve 7, Needle gauge 407 from Crank pin of Gear complete. 7. Gear complete, Balance plate, Push plate, Bearing case complete are secured with Retaining ring S-6. So, remove the Retaining ring S-6. 8. From Bearing case complete, Push plate, Balance plate and Gear complete are separated. Remove Armature with 1R269 from Bearing case complete. Bearing case complete 1R269 Armature Gear complete P 6/ 12 Repair [3] DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [3]-2. Crank Mechanism ASSEMBLING (1) Assemble Armature to Bearing case complete. Refer to the lower illustrations in Fig. 6. (2) Assemble Crank mechanism as drawn in Fig. 7. Fig. 7 1. Mount Push plate, Balance plate, Gear complete and Flat washer 6 to Bearing case complete. And push Gear complete toward Bearing case complete to reserve the groove for assembling Retaining ring S-6. Push plate 2. Mount retaining ring S-6 to the pin of Bearing case complete. Now, Gear complete, Balance plate, and push plate are secured to Bearing case complete. Assemble Needle gauge 407 and Sleeve 7 to crank pin of Gear complete, facing the brim of sleeve 7 to Gear complete side. And mount Flat washer 10. Needle gauge 407 Sleeve 7 Flat washer 10 (3) Referring to Fig. 5, mount the assembled Crank mechanism to Housing set (L). (4) Make sure that O ring 5 is mounted to the accepting hole for Slider guide respectively before assembling slider section. See Fig. 8. Crank Mechanism ASSEMBLING (5) Turning Armature, move Crank pin of Gear complete to the highest point from the edge of Housing set (L), for easy assembling of Slider section. Refer to the center illustration in Fig. 4. And mount slider section to Housing set (L). Refer to the center illustration in Fig. 4. Mount Slider guide plate, facing its short leg to Housing set (L) side. (7) Before assembling Housing set (R.), make sure that two Holders and Retainer complete are mounted to Housing set (L). Slider section, Toolless Blade Clamp Mechanism DISASSEMBLING (1) Disassemble Lever 8, Base, Housing cover, Safety wire as illustrated in Fig. 2. And then, remove Housing set (R) as illustrated in Fig. 3. (2) Take out Slider section as illustrated in Fig. 4. (3) The Slider section can be disassembled as illustrated in Fig. 11. Fig. 11 1. Separate Rod assembly from Slider by taking off Stop ring E-3 and Pin 4. 2. Remove Slider guide from Slider. And Slider support, Seal plate are removed from Rod assembly. Slider Urethane sponge sheet can be removed from Seal plate. Fig. 12 1. Remove Dust cover from Insert holder. Retaining ring R-13 in Insert holder comes into your sight. 2. Remove Retaining ring R-13 from the inside of Insert holder as illustrated below. Now rod assembly (Toolless blade clamp mechanism) is disassembled as illustrated below. So, the Rod and Insert holder fit each other with click. 6. Secure the Rod to Insert holder with Retaining ring R-13 and mount Dust cover. Assemble Slider plate to Rod. Note: Locate the closed end of Slider plate to right side viewing from the bore side of Rod. Slider plate 3. Assemble Slider support. Bore 4.
