SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The safety recommendations outlined in this section are to be read and followed before operating this machine. Keep this information for future reference.

1. To prevent the possibility of a fire or injury,do not allow foreign articles(neckties, scarves, or parerclips) inside the machine.

2. Do not attempt to laminate items that exceed total recommended material thickness.

3. Do not insert pouch film with the back end first.

(Front of film: sealed side,Back of film unsealed side.)

This may cause the pouch to jam the rollers.

4. To prevent the possibility of electric shock, do not immerse the laminator in water or permit liquids inside the machine.

5. Because the laminator creates heat, keep out of reach of children.

6. Do not cut pouch before inserting into laminator.

(This will cause the laminator to jam.)

7. Do not laminate leaves, flowers, clothes etc.

8. If the room temperature is low(under 64f), The ready light may take longer to come on.

9. Plug the laminator in after verifying the correct voltage.

Failure to comply with the above information could result in serious injury.

HOT LAMINATING PROCEDURE

1. Turn the power switch to the hot position.

The power indicator will light. Allow approximately 10 minutes to preheat.

When the proper temperature is reached, the "ready" light will go on.

2. Place the item to be laminated into the laminating pouch.

3. Insert the pouch film into the front opening of your laminator.

Be sure to center the laminating pouch as it is inserted.

4. The item will autormatically feed out through the rear of the

laminator.

(SAFETYNOTE: The laminated item may be too hot to touch.)

5. If the item is not completely laminated, repeat steps 3-5.

NOTE: Your finished laminated item will be hot,and will easily bend.

To keep your laminated item flat , place on flat surface and allow to cool.

COLD LAMINATING PROCEDURE

1. Turn the power switch to the cold position (" ="). The power indicator light will not light, but the machine is now ready to laminate in the cold mode.

2. Place the document to be laminated on the adhesive side of the cold film with the document face down.

3. Insert the document to be laminated into the front opening of the machine.

4. Remove paper liner from the cold film slowly while the document is being inserted into the machine.

NOTE: When switching the machine from the hot to cold mode, it will take approximately 30 minutes for the ready indicator light to turn off.

Please wait for the light to turn off before inserting your document.

3. La plastifieuse ES-400C permet la plastification à froid et n' abîme pas les documents thermosensibles.

4. Le design de la série ES est arrondi et se fond dans tous les types d'environnment.

PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ

II convient de lire et de suivre les recommandations de sécurité soulignées dans cette partie avant d'utiliser cette machine. II est recommandé de conserver ces informations pour pouvoir s'y reporter plus tard.

1. Pour prévenir tout risque d'incendie ou de blessure, veiller à ce qu'aucun corps étranger (cravates, écharpes ou trombones) n'enraie la machine.

2. Ne pas essayer de plastifier des documents dépassant l'épaisseur totale recommandée.

3. Ne pas insérer le verso de la pochette en premier. (Recto de la feuille : côté fermé hermétiquement. Verso de la feuille : côté ouvert.) La pochette risquerait de se coincer dans les rouleaux..

4. Pour prévenir tout risque d'électrocution, ne pas immerger la plastifieuse dans l'eau et ne pas verser de liquide dans la machine.

5. Comme la plastifieuse génère de la chaleur, tenir hors de la portée des enfants.

6. Ne pas couper la pochette avant de l'insérer dans la plastifieuse. (Elle risquerait d'enrayer la plastifieuse.)

7. Ne pas plastifier les feuilles, fleurs, vêtements, etc.

8. Si la température de la pièce est basse (en dessous de 18.

C), le voyant lumineux risque de prendre plus de temps pour s'allumer.

9. Vérifier la tension électrique avant de brancher la plastifieuse. Le non-respect des informations mentionnées ci-dessus pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.

PROCÉDURE DE PLASTIFICATION À CHAUD

1. Placer l'interrupteur d'alimentation sur " chaud/hot " (" - "). L'indicateur de fonctionnement s'allume. Laisser la machine préchauffer pendant environ 10 minutes, Lorsque la température est appropriée, la voyant lumineux s'allume.

2. Placer le document à plastifier dans la pochette de plastification.

3. Insérer la pochette de plastification, le bord piqué en premier, dans l'ouverture

frontale de la plastifieuse.

4. Le document plastifié sortira automatiquement par l'arrière de la plastifieuse.

(REMARQUE CONCERNANT LA SÉCURITÉ : ne pas toucher le document

plastifié, car il peut être très chaud.)

5. Si le document plastifié terminé n'est pas complètement plastifié, répéter les

points 3 à 5.

REMARQUE : le document plastifié terminé est très chaud et peut facilement se plier. Pour que le document plastifié reste plat, le placer sur une surface plate et le laisser refroidir.

PROCÉDURE DE PLASTIFICATION À FROID

1. Placer l'interrupteur d'alimentation sur " froid/cold "

(" = "). L'indicateur de fonctionnement ne s'allume pas,

mais la machine est maintenant prête à plastifier en

mode froid.

2. Placer le document à plastifier à l'envers sur la face adhésive de la pochette de plastification à froid.

3. Insérer le document à plastifier dans l'ouverture frontale de la machine.

4. Retirer lentement la protection en papier de la pochette de plastification à froid tout en insérant le document dans la machine.

REMARQUE : lorsque l'on passe du mode chaud au mode froid, il faut compter approximativement 30 minutes pour que le voyant lumineux s'éteigne. Attendre que le voyant s'éteigne avant d'insérer le document.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LA SERIE ES

los materiales sensibles al calor.

complementa cualquier ambiente.

PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Las recomendaciones de seguridad indicadas en esta sección se deben leer y cumplir antes de usar esta máquina. Guarde esta información como referencia futura.

1. Para prevenir la posibilidad de un incendio o lesión, no permita que objetos extraños (corbatas, chalinas o clips de papel) entren en la máquina.

2. No trate de laminar artículos que exceden el espesor total recomendado del material.

3. No inserte la película de la bolsa con la parte trasera primero.(Frente de la película: lado cerrado. Parte trasera de la película: lado abierto). Esto podría causar que la bolsa obstruya los rodillos.

4. Para prevenir la posibilidad de choque eléctrico, no sumerja el laminador en agua ni permite que líquidos entren a la máquina.

5. Debido a que el laminador crea calor, manténgalo lejos del alcance de los niños.

6. No corte la bolsa antes de insertarla en el laminador.

(Esto causará que el laminador se trabe).

7. No lamine hojas, flores, ropa, etc.

8. Si la temperatura ambiente es baja (menos de 64 indicadora.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE LAMINADO EN CALIENTE

1. Ponga el interruptor de encendido en la posición caliente (" - "). La luz indicadora de encendido se encenderá. Deje que se precaliente durante aproximadamente 10 minutos. Cuando se alcanza la temperatura adecuada, se encenderá la luz que indica "listo".

2. Ponga el artículo que va a laminar en la bolsa para laminación.

3. Inserte la bolsa para laminación, con el lado cosido primero en la abertura

delantera de su laminador.

4. El artículo laminado pasará automáticamente y saldrá por la parte de atrás

del laminador. (NOTA DE SEGURIDAD: El artículo laminado podría estar

demasiado caliente para tocarlo).

5. Si el artículo laminado terminado no está completamente laminado, repita los

pasos 3 y 5.

NOTA: Su artículo laminado terminado estará caliente y se doblará fácilmente. Para mantener plano a su artículo laminado, póngalo en una superficie plana y deje que se enfríe.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE LAMINADO EN FRíO

1. Ponga el interruptor de encendido en la posición frío

(" = "). La luz que indica que está listo no se encenderá pero la máquina está lista para laminar en el modo frío.

2. Ponga el documento que va a laminar sobre el lado con adhesivo de la película fría con el documento mirando hacia abajo.

3. Inserte el documento que va a laminar en la abertura delantera de la máquina.

4. Saque el recubrimiento de papel de la película fría lentamente mientras inserta el documento en la máquina.

NOTA: Cuando cambia del modo caliente al frío de la máquina, se necesitarán aproximadamente 40 minutos para que la luz que indica

"listo" se apague. Por favor, espere que la luz se apague antes de insertar su documento.

SICHERHEITSVORKEHRUNGEN

Die in diesem Abschnitt aufgezeigten Sicherheitsvorkehrungen bitte vor dem Betrieb dieses Geräts lesen und befolgen. Bitte bewahren

Sie diese Informationen für künftige Verwendungen auf.

1. Um das Risiko eines Feuers oder einer Verletzung zu verhüten, keine Fremdkörper (Krawatten, Halstücher oder

Büroklammern) in das Gerät gelangen lassen.

2. Versuchen Sie nicht, Gegenstände zu laminieren, die die empfohlene Gesamtmaterialstärke überschreiten.

3. Die Folientasche nicht mit dem hinteren Ende zuerst einführen. (Vorderseite der Folie: Verschweißte Seite;

Rückseite der Folie: Nicht verschweißte Seite.) Dies könnte dazu führen, dass die Folientasche die Rollen verklemmt.

4. Das Laminiergerät nicht in Wasser tauchen oder Flüssigkeit in das gerät gelangen lassen, um die Gefahr eines

Stromschlags zu verhüten.

5. Da das Gerät Hitze erzeugt, halten Sie es von Kindern fern.

6. Tasche vor Einführung in das Gerät nicht aufschneiden.

(Dies erzeugt eine Stauung im Laminiergerät.)

7. Keine Blätter, Blumen, Kleidung usw. laminieren.

8. Wenn die Raumtemperatur niedrig ist (unter 18 o C), dauert es eventuell länger, bis die Bereitschaftsanzeige aufleuchtet.

9. Das Laminiergerät ans Netz anschließen, nachdem Sie sich von der richtigen Spannung überzeugt haben. Ein

Nichtbefolgen der vorstehenden Informationen kann zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.

VERFAHREN ZUM HEISSLAMINIEREN

1. Den Netzschalter auf die Stellung heiß stellen.

Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf. Lassen Sie das Gerät etwa 10 Minuten vorheizen.

Wenn die richtige Temperatur erreicht ist, leuchtet die Lampe "bereit" auf.

2. Den zu laminierenden Gegenstand in die Laminiertasche legen.

3. Die Folientasche in die vordere Öffnung des Laminiergeräts einführen.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Folientasche beim Einführen zentriert ist.

4. Der Gegenstand kommt automatisch auf der Rückseite des

Laminiergeräts heraus.

(SICHERHEITSHINWEIS: Der laminierte Gegenstand ist eventuell zu heiß

zum Anfassen.)

5. Wenn der Gegenstand nicht vollständig laminiert ist, wiederholen Sie die

Schritte 3-5.

HINWEIS: Das fertige Laminierprodukt ist heiß und biegt sich leicht.

Damit Ihr laminierter Gegenstand glatt bleibt, legen Sie ihn zum Abkühlen auf eine ebene Fläche.

VERFAHREN ZUM KALTLAMINIEREN

1. Den Netzschalter auf die Stellung "kalt" stellen. Die

Stromanzeigelampe leuchtet nicht auf, aber das Gerät ist jetzt zum Kaltlaminieren bereit.

2. Das zu laminierende Dokument mit der bedruckten

Seite nach unten auf die Haftseite der kalten Folie legen.

3. Das zu laminierende Dokument in die vordere

Öffnung des Geräts einführen.

4. Die Papierbeschichtung langsam von der kalten Folie abziehen, während das Dokument in das Gerät eingeführt wird.

HINWEIS: Beim Umschalten des Geräts von Heiß- auf Kaltbetrieb dauert es ungefähr 30 Minuten, bis die Bereitschaftsleuchtanzeige erlischt. Bitte warten Sie auf das Erlöschen der Lampe, bevor Sie Ihr

Dokument einführen.
