Frequently asked questions

The MSV 2623 has a maximum pressure output of 2600 PSI, while the MSV 3025 has a maximum pressure output of 3000 PSI.

To change nozzles, simply pull the quick-connect coupler back and insert the desired nozzle. Then, release the quick-connect coupler and twist the nozzle to ensure it is securely in place.

The MSV 2623 has a detergent siphon hose that you can use to mix cleaning agents with water. Simply place the other end of the detergent siphon hose into a container of your desired cleaning solution and press the siphon hose onto the barbed fitting near the high-pressure hose connection of the pump. The MSV3025 comes with an on-board detergent tank that you can fill with your desired pre-mixed solution. Make sure the valve for the tank is in the open position and then use the black soap nozzle for low-pressure spray.

First, fill the fuel tank and check the engine oil level. Connect the water hose to the water source and turn the water source on to remove all air from the hose. Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and the water source to the pump inlet. Choose your desired nozzle, turn the water source on, pull the trigger on the gun to remove air from the pump and hose, and then start the engine. Finally, depress the trigger on the gun to start the water flow.

Shut down the engine, turn off the water source, pull the trigger on the gun to relieve any water pressure in the hose and gun, and then store the pressure washer according to the instructions in the manual.

If your nozzle becomes clogged, shut off the pressure washer and turn off the water supply. Pull the trigger on the gun to relieve pressure, remove the nozzle from the wand, and clean it with the included nozzle cleaning tool. Reassemble the nozzle and reconnect the wand to the gun. Finally, turn on the water supply and start the pressure washer.

You should check and clean the water inlet filter periodically. To clean it, remove the filter, flush it with water on both sides, and re-insert it into the pump. Make sure the cone side of the filter faces out.

Drain all water from the high-pressure hose, the gun, and the wand. Store the detergent siphon hose (if equipped) in a protected area. To properly winterize the pump, use a pump protector/winterizer or RV antifreeze. See the manual for more details.
