Proheat M-Series M50, M80/90, M105/125 diesel heater Service manual

M-Series M50, M80/90 & M105/125 are diesel-powered heaters designed for use in trucks, buses, construction equipment, off-road equipment, military equipment, and cargo. The G-II PCM has three modes of operation: Standard, Preheat and Supplemental. Depending on the installation, more than one mode may be wired for operation.

Yes, the Proheat heater can be used for marine applications, however, SeaStar Solutions recommends that only an expert in marine hot-water heating systems install the heater for these applications.

The G-II PCM can be identified by a status indicator light and a dual mode temperature sensor with a 4-pin connector. The G-I PCM does not have a status indicator light and has a 2-pin analog temperature sensor.

Proheat heaters use either a diaphragm compressor (serial numbers 700000 and above) or a rotary vane compressor (serial numbers 500000-699999).
