The fuel level warning light comes on if the fuel level drops below approximately 2.1 L (0.55 US gal, 0.46 Imp.gal). When this occurs, refuel as soon as possible.

Use only unleaded gasoline with a pump octane number [(R+M)/2] of 91 or higher, or a research octane number of 95 or higher.

Gasohol containing ethanol can be used if the ethanol content does not exceed 10%. Gasohol containing methanol should not be used.

The engine trouble warning light will come on or flashes if a problem is detected in the electrical circuit monitoring the engine. If this occurs, have a Yamaha dealer check the electrical circuit.

Push the “SELECT 1” button for at least two seconds. When the hour digits start flashing, push either select button to set the hours. Push the “RESET” button, and the minute digits will start flashing. Push either select button to set the minutes. Push the “RESET” button, and the second digits will start flashing. Push either select button to set the second digits to zero. Push the “RESET” button for at least two seconds, and then release it to start the clock.

The stopwatch is displayed and it can be started manually or automatically. To start manually, push the “RESET” button. To stop the stopwatch, push the “SELECT 1” button and “SELECT 2” button together. To resume stopwatch counting, push the “SELECT 1” button and “SELECT 2” button together again.
